Questions & Answers
Thank you for your involvement in the Evolution Miter Stand. Most 10" miter saws should fit on the stand, but 100% unsure about the Delta. The mounting brackets on the stand are adjustable from side to side, and the saw must be 15" or less in length from front to back to fit on the stand. Hello,br>Do you have the saw's measurements? I'd compare the saw's dimensions to the table's dimensions to see if it would fit.
Yes, I had a 12 inch.
It must be extremely constrained. It's risky to use it in that manner.

First, the stand is too short for me; I'm 6'1" and the stand hits me just below the belt line, so I have to bend over to use it. The extendable arms are a waste of money; they don't stay level with the work surface and must be adjusted frequently to maintain the proper height. I used the blocking feature to make multiple cuts at the same length, but because the arms are so flimsy, my boards were off by up to 1/4" in length. The stand's center section is at least sturdy. br>Oh, and it's a pain to transport. Get a wheeled version.
It is very sturdy and it is easy to remove the saw for transportation. Even with the legs folded, moving the saw/stand together without help is not possible for me. It's too heavy and awkward to carry around, and carrying the saw and stand separately is inconvenient, but for a home-use tool, it's fine. This is ideal for the owner on a budget who does not move their saw very often.
Nice stand, but only gets 3 stars because it is too low for me to work on all day. If it were 12" taller or at least 6" taller, it would be perfect for me.
This stand was purchased to complete my new miter saw set. The stand was well-protected during shipping and arrived in perfect condition. I was able to put it together with some difficulty after opening it because the instructions were mostly pictures that left a lot to be desired. I was able to use my saw without a hitch once it was put together. This is a sturdy stand with a wide enough base to keep it from tipping over. The rollers can adjust both horizontally and vertically; I don't recall the exact horizontal figures, but they're plenty for most users. Longer boards can be supported adequately by the side rail roller system. It took me a minute to figure out how to properly mount the saw, but it's very useful. I'll state up front that I am NOT A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, but I believe this will suffice for the vast majority of people. If I needed to expand my tooling, which is highly likely, I would not hesitate to buy another. This is a stand that I would strongly recommend!.
AN EXCELLENT PLATFORM ON WHICH TO HANG A SAW! However, because some Evolution saws are not "plug and play" with this stand, you will need to be creative and fabricate a base from good 1/2" to 3/4" plywood for in between the saw and the handles for saw removal. This isn't a major problem. It's a great stand because it's sturdy and stable. The assembly is simple.
I've included two images in this post. For my permanent shop, I use a shortened version of extensions. My benches are almost identical in height. The extensions bothered me because they were flimsy and difficult to adjust precisely. Anyone who uses it on a construction site will notice a significant improvement in quality. I would recommend it for a permanent installation in a workshop like mine because the stand is excellent, very sturdy and well built; in fact, the stand alone is worth the money because the stand that came with my Craftsman miter saw was a piece of crap. As a result, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.
This product was difficult to describe. br>It appeared to be quite durable. The legs, as well as the saw's base, are made of solid materials. However, for two reasons, I am unable to write a grsat review.
1 - The extension on the right side is a complete waste of time. There's a void, and it hangs in there. Your product will not sit flat on the roller because it slopes backwards. br>In the hole, very sloppybr>2 - The bolt on the right side that holds the extension in place is of poor quality. The bolt won't even reach the arm that holds it in place because it won't go all the way into the hole. br>This product has left me very disappointed.
It's well-made, sturdier than I expected, and simple to put together right out of the box. br>It folds up nicely once assembled. br>The outrigger work piece supports are simple to adjust. br>A pair of tool mounts can be permanently attached to the miter saw (or whatever tool you're using). When attached to the tool, this tool mount makes it simple to mount the tool to the stand. Simply hook the mounts' backs over the stand's back rails, lower the fronts onto the front rails, and clamp them in place.
