Questions & Answers
Yes, I have the DWX723 mitre saw stand, which fits perfectly in that groove and can be slid up next to the saw or left out at the end. After extending the arm a little, you can slide it in from the end. It can also be mounted on the sliding part of the device. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. It's a fantastic choice for this situation. It's nice and wide.
No, the DW7027 Miter Saw Stand will not work with the DW723, DWX723 or DWX724 Miter Saw Stands.
Separately available for purchase
Miter Saw Stands DW723, DWX723 and DWX724 are compatible with the DWS715 Miter Saw.
Selected User Reviews For DEWALT Miter Saw Stand Wide Roller Work Support Attachment (DW7027) Large
This roller is fantastic. It is SO much better than the small supports that come with the saw stands for supporting larger materials. To support short materials, I moved the smaller supports to the saw stand's stationary part, which also works well.
I've been using it in conjunction with the DEWALT DWX724 Compact Miter Saw Stand for the past few days, primarily when working with 8 and 10-foot pieces of wood. It greatly aids in making things a one-person operation once more. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, so I used to have to have someone hold longer pieces of wood until I could clamp them with the Makita LS1040 Compound Miter Saw clamp. The mounting brackets are used to secure the LS1040 to the stand. I can see the roller support being very useful, and I haven't had the need to use the extension support yet, but I will.
This is something you must have. This is compatible with the DeWalt miter saw stand, and it's nice to have the extra space when working with lumber of a wider width. br>br>I'm cutting some decorative 4 x 4's (which is tricky with a small saw) so I'm using a backer board against the fence and taking a couple of swipes - This larger roller makes it a lot easier because the 6' heavy piece of wood isn't slipping off all the time. br>br>Wow, that's a lot of br>br>br>br>b A 12" sliding compound miter saw is something I'd like to get my hands on. This little old 64-year-old lady, on the other hand, would find it difficult to transport. br>br>I'm going to order another one for the opposite side of the stand; it's a bit pricey, but I think it'll be well worth it.
Very well done. I couldn't give it five stars because it needs a better system to keep it at the proper height. When I'm cutting a large pressure treat board on it, I can't get the knobs tight enough to keep it from slipping down. However, in the vast majority of cases, it is extremely beneficial.
This foot is far superior to the one that comes with the stand, and it is ideal for crown work.
This is a great addition to your Dewalt miter saw stand because it makes moving stock for cutting so much easier.
The DEWALT DW7027 Wide Roller Material Support works well with my miter saw and stand; however, due to their size and location, the knobs that hold the support in place (bottom center) and that hold the rollers at the proper height (right and left side) are difficult to tighten securely. You should check the height knobs on a regular basis to make sure they're tight enough to keep your material level on the saw's surface.
Fits perfectly and performs as expected on my DWX723 stand.
