Perhaps a half-inch or so. Even with thin wood, I use it and let the push stick get worn down. It's a better alternative to using your hands.

There's not much to say about these because they're pretty standard in terms of push sticks. I like that they're thin enough to fit between the blade and the fence, and the sharp angle keeps my hands well above blade height when I'm using them, which adds another layer of safety. There are a lot of similar designs out there, and these aren't all that different, so I wouldn't pay more for the DeWalt brand name (I just happen to own mostly DeWalt tools). br>br>I bought the two-pack expecting to lose one of them at some point, but I've already used them together on several occasions. One is for holding the stock to the table, while the other is for pushing the stock into the blade - It's easy to use and far safer than going free-for-all. The cutouts in the sticks are also useful because they not only lighten them but also allow me to attach them to my portable saw via the stud used to hold extra blades. br>br> I'll always know where they are if I need them this way. br>br>I believe that covering the "mouth" of the push stick with a strip of rubber to prevent slippage would be a good addition to the design. This hasn't been an issue for me yet, but there are times when I'm working with thin material and the mouth isn't quite enough to push the material into the blade, so having something to grip it a little better would be nice. If this became a problem, it would be simple to fix with some self-adhesive rubber strips. Another option is to use one of the block-type push sticks that are commonly used with planers. Those with a full rubber covering on the surface that touches the wood are most common. However, they aren't as versatile as a table saw, so having both is preferable. Honestly, for around $17 for the pair (at the time of my purchase), this is very inexpensive insurance. You really can't go wrong with this if your table saw doesn't have a push stick and you need a quick and easy solution.
50 Walt push dicks are very nice and came in very handy. I didn't realize when I bought the saw that it came with one, so I had to order these other ones, but it turns out it did have one and I now have three. They are very handy and will keep my fingers off the blade area and Mac finger safe.
Through the blade, I ran the one that came with the saw. The one that came with the saw was the one I wanted because it has a clip to keep it in place. This was exactly what I needed.
They are OEM pushsticks, which are identical to the ones that came with my Dewalt table saw. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a push stick because they are well made and have a comfortable angle.
I use it on my table saw and find it to be very useful. It would be fantastic if they also produced one that was extremely slim.
When cutting a really tight piece of wood, I've tried this on my dealt saw before and always end up sawing through it. I like how it fits into the fence and is simple to use when needed.
These are something I always have on hand. I once failed to do so and nearly severed my thumb. It's great to be able to get two of these high-quality OEM sticks at such a low cost.
