The template material was peeled off the backing and adhered to a granite stone using the film backing. The letters, symbols, years and numbers are all carved by hand. Once the stone has been sandblasted and painted with lithichrome paint, clear coat all the stone with lithichrome clear paint. Now that I have my personalized gravestone, I feel more at peace. I am pleased with this product. I was more pleased with the outcome than I had expected. I hope I don't need it for a long time! Mike PS I hope I don't need it for some time!.

The material is a bit stiff, so flat objects are better

My previous cut was a softer, almost butter-like cut that was recently discontinued, so I hoped this would be the same. The fabric is stiffer the more you squeeze it, so it won't work well on items that don't lie You may have a problem if you use it on natural stone that has a cleft in it, or on round glasses or bowls that have a straight edge. The original was in my possession, and I am sure I will find some use for it, but I thought I would share what I discovered.
