If by "shoulder size" you mean the diameter of the guide, then these are 1 3/16" and will fit in most bases (Porter Cable, DeWalt, etc.). It is impossible to tell what the thread diameter is since the appropriate nuts to lock the guides into the router base are included in the package.
I assume that it will be used on two different routers.
Yes, Makita's guide is larger than the ones found in the other guides. There is a difference of 50mm (Makita) versus 33mm (this Guide), and the hole required is 38mm (Makita) instead of 27mm. I would encourage you to read guide 9 (this one).
A guide bushing cannot be installed on the Ryobi P601 trim router's base plate as it is a trim router. A universal base, like Powertec 71381, or an adapter, such as Powertec 71051, is required in order to use any Powertec 71051, or any industry standard guide bushing with the Ryobi P601. Ryobi P601 is compatible with the Powertec 71381 Universal Trim Router Base Plate, which is predrilled to fit a variety of trim routers. The grooves in the bushings seem fine, but the lock rings are not. I tested the bushings with a borrowed lock ring and all the threads seem fine. My response from Powertec will be updated as soon as I receive it. I've edited it I have not received a reply from Powertec. This bushing is not to be purchased.
*Upon receipt, I checked each Bushing with both of the It turned out that my threads mate without issue with either of the Lock Rings that came with each Bushing. My inspection did not reveal any burrs or My main impression of the sturdy but not heavy storage/carrying case was its high quality and finish as well as the inclusion of the foam insert. As for the products, I will be happy to purchase them again, and highly recommend them, unless you are a "Tool Snob", who refuses to pay the price for an equivalent product. The only positive is that you can peel off the sticky label and continue to work on your wood, while wearing your designer Safety Glasses and Gloves, to protect your carefully.
As well as the Porter Cable ones, I own a set. It's the depth of the bushing that makes all the difference. PC templates are often larger than 1/4" in thickness and do not work for thicker templates. Some PC sizes can be up to 1/2" deep. There are three kinds of depths, and all of them are more versatile than a There are no differences in quality between the two.
Had to use a lock that worked in one of the eight bushings. I am completely unable to use it.
It is not possible to mount the nuts since the threads on the nuts will not match the threads on the bushings. You can look pretty and useful at the same time.
It would have been a great package, but a replacement set was out after I received the original package. Only 1 of the bushings will fit with the locking nuts, all the other 7 did not have the threads machined correctly, and they both have the same manufacturing defect. Two sets occurred this way in the span of three days, so there's no doubt that this was a bad batch.
Because I noticed that all the bad reviews were related to the Summer of 2019. So I bought them. The fact that a bad batch appeared to be the reason I wanted to believe it is possible. There are no problems with my set, and it A finish of 4 instead of 5 stars is the reason for my evaluation. A quality tool feels good in the hand, fits well, and has an appealing finish Tools are as important to their performance as they are to their makers. This is an area where it falls short a little. I am fully satisfied with the overall results.
I purchased it so that I could use it with the Bosch router adapter (which uses As I mentioned above, I liked the quality of the bushings and case quite a bit, and the price point was competitive. POWERTEC is a brand I have purchased planer and jointer knives from, and I am quite confident about their quality.
