The Craftsman 320 is compatible with this part
5/5

When I bought the Craftsman 37595 (about 2 years ago), it came with a 1/4" chuck, and I thought I could later add a 1/2" chuck (for larger, heavier duty router bits). It turned out, however, that Sears Parts Direct and other vendors do not carry them, and some parts claiming to be OEM Craftsman parts did not fit the bits or did not hold them There is a British web site claiming that the Bosch Big Horn 19693 (Replacement for Bosch 2610906284 and some others) will also work on Craftsman routers, but it did not work on mine. So I tried this Bosch model and it worked very well. A strong, even pressure is applied to 1/2" shanks when it mechanically mates with the router. All of us are accountable to ourselves It works as expected for the extraction feature. It works on the same model as the Bosch router listed above but I cannot speak to other recent Craftsman routers. In the case of a similar search for your router, you should certainly test the functionality of the collet by using a reasonably heavy cardstock The 1/2-inch shank of this bit is balanced. Make sure that there are no fit issues between the router and the collet, as well as between the collet and the collet and the bit by trying a few short bursts of power first. Vibrations or loosening of the bit indicate you don't have a combination that is strong enough to go at full power. Hopefully you will be able to find the parts you need to complete your project (or job).

Well, I managed to stay on schedule and everything worked out great
5/5

The house I am renovating is in the middle of the process. In the process of searching for my 1/2" collet for my craftsman router, I misplaced it. They didn't have one and were going to have to order one and wait two weeks to get it. A little searching on the Internet revealed that some Bosch and Craftsman collets can be used together because the thread pitch is In stock on Amazon was the bosch collet for the router up to 25000rpm and 12amp up to 25000rpm. It was lucky for me that I was able to get my order delivered the same day! Well, I managed to stay on schedule and everything worked out great. The best decision I've ever made.

I am using the Bosch Collett
5/5

There is no warmth to be found! A thickness of 0 is considered thin. Since new Bosch router collet looks pretty thin, I bought this as a spare. There is a risk of cracking in thin wall collets. Especially when you spin it a large amount, it makes things pretty exciting at 25,000 rpm. With this design, a piece of material can be released from the router that gets stuck sometimes. There are times when it does, there are times when it does.

This part fits Hitachi M12VC machines
5/5

To replace the horribly horrible 1/2" collet that comes with the Hitachi M12VC, I purchased this collet. As far as I am concerned, it does I can not yet verify how it will perform under load.
But it holds and releases just fine for me. In a few days I'll report back after I've had a chance to test As of now, I give it 5 stars. Update '5/28/15
I've finally used this tool to do edge routing for the first time today. Although I didn't yank too hard on the collet, I believe that it will be fine as it locked into place well (and released without issue)! This remains a 5 star hotel.

There's more to Bosch than meets the eye! Model number RE 601 is the plunge router I have from Ryobi
5/5

There was a problem with the collet. As for the nut, it was fine. I searched for a replacement part and found it for I spent $10. 00! As this part is listed as obsolete, you may find one if you could find one. (It's a fantastic idea for marketing). At that time, I put the nut into I would suggest going to Home Depot and testing the nut on all the routers. As it turns out, Ryobi had changed their thread pattern, but it worked for Bosch just fine! Well, that wasn't hard to figure It was easy to find the part number for the Bosch router collet, so I ordered it. The hybrid router I have now is a Ryoboschbi, and it works flawlessly. It makes you wonder how it works. It would have been better if I had started out with a Bosch router!.

A Hitachi M12VC controller
5/5

As you can see, the collar isn't as meaty as portrayed in picture. I've been using it on my Hitachi m12vc and it works fine! We tried other replacement pieces and almost wrecked the router as we couldn't get the bits to center. The one I got is the one I should have gotten and I am very happy with it.

The exact thing I was looking for
5/5

There is no evidence of tampering with this genuine part. Thanks for sending it. I am glad I got Despite these parts being available for purchase at big box retailers, I don't understand why they do not sell them. The advantage of having a spare is that even if you haven't lost yours, you will have one.

Make sure you do your homework before buying
5/5

Make sure you are compatible with others before you assume they are. I like how easy it is to use. As my Craftsman table router only came with a 1/4" shaft, I had to use a 1/2" shaft to install it. I was not able to find a compatible one at Sears, so I looked and found a compatible one at Bosch.
