Selected User Reviews For ATOPLEE 1pcs 1/4 inch ER11 Spring Collet Set for CNC Engraving Machine & Milling Lathe Tool
Having received these a few weeks ago, the 1/4" collet is all I have tried so far. A 1/4" shaft bit fitting in the collet was extremely difficult, and after trying several times I realized it was not a 1/4 collet, but rather a 6mm collet, which I found to be useless. Advertisers must not mislead their customers and do a good job of promoting these products if they want to keep selling them.
There is no 1/4 collet in the 1/4 collet I received. It looks like it is a metric collet that has been re-enforced A 1/4" tooling hole is marked, but it cannot be used.
Because of the short return window, I was unable to test before it ended. I was left with a 1/8 that isn't usable.
collet on the 1/8" drill is totally out of round, not round It is worthless. The one I have is not good enough. I need to buy a.
The product I bought was what I expected. I'll never use those ER11 collets again. A precision micro end-mill would be needed to finish the bores because they are so rough Collet can only be inserted about half way into the bit. There are burrs on parts of the compression slots, and there's a finish similar to 80 grit sandpaper inside the bore. The collets you see here are not to be purchased.
When they got here, they were marked 1/8 MM and 1/4 MM instead of the 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch stated in the description. As far as I can tell, they are 1/8 and 1/4 inch. As of now, I have not put them in the router, but they seem to be okay. If there is a problem, I'll let you know.
A measurement of 1/8 MM or 1/4 MM cannot equal a measurement of 1/8 IN or 1/4 IN respectively. This package specifies that it contains collets of 1/ 8 mm and 1/ 4 mm in its contents. It is NOT a 1/8 inch or a 1/4 inch collet.
The material is of very good quality. The item was received quickly. It was of a good.
