What's the size of the gap between this and the ?

The 1/2 inch base is designed for Bosch routers, but it should work with any 1/2 inch router. According to the information I found about the Dewalt DWP611, I am not sure it will work properly. Designed so that a 1/2" router base can be attached to it.

If you are using 8mm bits, this is a must

When you have an 8mm shank, this is a must have. A set of Rockler dovetails came with an adapter to convert 1/4 to 8 mm, but since the adapter worked, it was tough to align the bit with a pattern hue It fits perfect on my R1617 when I bought this 8MM Collet Chuck. If you are using 8mm shanks, it is certainly worth it.

This nut fits a 20mm x 1 hole. It has a pitch of 0 mm. I have a Craftsman 320 and this fits perfectly. This router is a 17541. This was exactly what I needed for the router bits I purchased with a 8mm shank.
