Adding this bit to your router bit collection would not be a bad idea
5/5

Would you rather stay away from a machine like a biscuit jointer that costs a lot of money? Once you have this bit, you can use it on your router. The biscuit cutting tool can be used for all types of cuts and be used for long cuts as well. There is only one thing I think would be better
It is very sharp and does not have any problems with quality. A shaft that is still about half an inch to an inch longer would be ideal. Generally, this router provided good service, but the hole in the collet of my handheld model is too small, so I had to fiddle with it for securing the bit when it It works like a charm in all cases. Can you recommend? I firmly believe that is the case!.

Not a biscuit slot cutter, it cuts linear The biscuit joint slot cutter does not work for biscuit joints
3/5

I don't think this biscuit is the right size. Although the board is close to the right thickness for the #20 and can be utilized for my project with a little tinkering, the biscuits are not a snug fit, and I have to move the board side to side just at the right length to make it Slot cutters, not biscuit cutters, are used for cutting slots in items. It will not be possible to get perfectly shaped perfect biscuit It is more realistic to replace a cutter with an actual biscuit cutter if I used biscuits often.

Buy a biscuit joiner and you will save a lot of money
4/5

Using this router bit on a palm router is great. A little slop is present in the slot when compared to the thickness of the biscuit, but it is not very damaging. You will be fine as long as you square up your work pieces and line them up during glue up.

I used it for about five to six uses and the blade fell off

It was not durable. As long as I use the arbor, the project will still go ahead.

However, it has some flaws

I don't think this is a great way to join materials. The dowels worked wonderfully and I found them to be more convenient and easier to use than paper clips.

As an alternative to a biscuit cutter, this is ideal
5/5

purchased this bit in order to cut biscuits on my router table to build a table top. Cutting is precise, clean, and quick with this blade. I highly recommend this book.
