I found the tongue and groove bits to work as planned. A miter joint bit with a 45-degree angle simply chewed up plywood. Having not yet had an opportunity to use this bit on solid woods, I have no experience in doing so. It's a bit pricey, but I would buy it.

The shaft bent on the first cut, so it was cheap

In a nutshell A total let down. Immediately after cutting, the shaft bent, so it was a very dangerous situation. You get what you pay for when you buy cheap goods. As soon as anyone said anything, I had the bit seated all the way in the collar. Using the other two bits from the set seems a bit risky to me. There is no doubt that I will be using.

I couldn't have asked for more! I was finally able to use the router but set for my cabinet door assembly, and I am so grateful! For similar sets, the big box stores demanded more than twice as much as they used to! The price is great and the quality is good!

A 45 will not fit a 3/4" board, but a tongue and groove will work. My apologies for not noticing that the 45 will not do 3/4" boards.

In a nutshell These are tool attachments you will need to do certain woodworking tasks, although I am not a woodworker, I was having a friend do a project for me, and he said he needed these, so I got them for him. So far, the results look The heads of those machines were very sharp, and watching him a bit I was able to watch them at work making parts with notch and grooves, and corners (way beyond my skill level). My colleague, who IS a professional, said they were great for this project and it will take us a while to see how long they will last. However, from everything he has seen in the weeks since he started using them, they appear to be flawless. As a result, I am giving them a 5 Star rating since I have seen results and so far appears to be wonderful.
