A poplar tree was used for the project. Cuts perfectly along the grain when using the groove piece. As the tongue piece, however, does not seem sharp enough, so I have to hold the workpiece very hard against the fence in order to prevent it from getting kicked off touching? Wood is relatively soft in comparison, so I have to avoid it from getting kicked off? There is also a thin washer that must be added for the tongue to be 1/4 inch wide. Since this is my first experience with this type of bit, I will not have any previous experience with similar bits from any other brand. This might be caused by the fact that the bit cuts twice as much wood, as well as cutting against the grain of the wood. I was finally able to get it to work for my paint grade DIY cabinet doors that had.
My tongues always kept coming out when I grooved already tongued rails, no matter what I did. We never came close to getting them the right way to avoid leaving a 1/16 to 1/32 inch thick layer of wood on the edges.
Having a clean cut is really important to me.
They give the desired results and seem to last.

The price for 2 pieces and the function for 1 piece. Having them as a set with a specific purpose was better than having them as individual items or as part of a set with many components.
It cuts well, but I haven't used it much so I don't know how well it will hold up.
