It cuts very smooth, is well balanced, and has a very sharp edge. Another Freud bit of the same size has been my go-to tool for making raised panel cabinet doors for a number of years. This kind of paneling is done so well I purchased it to go on a bunch of 6 panel interior doors (the raised panel kind of paneling). The wood burns hardly at all (even though I am using soft Alder). As a whole, it works well. This large device does require a high-speed router, which should be at least two times the speed of the computer due to its size. Each HP cost five dollars. Verify that your router table can handle a bit of this diameter as well.
There's never a dull moment with Freud bits. The clean lines of steel are pleasing to the eye.
I think this is a fine piece. The frame can be used for a variety of purposes Based on what we have made thus The finish is smooth, nice work! There is only one thing that concerns me the maximum speed rating, since my router runs at a fixed 23,000 rpm speed. As I have been running it at a faster speed than recommended, I see several thin shavings occur. I have been using this for a long time, but I am still considering upgrading to a new router that has.
It seems to work well. You can do it even if you're an For building oak bathroom doors from scratch, I used it to bevel the edges. There is no indication that it has been used. Anyone who is interested in it should try it.
The bit here is awesome. Sets up with just a few scraps of wood. When that happens. . . I can see it from a mile away. . . . It has a beautiful finished.
The bit I liked was good.
Cuts were very clean and raised panels in just two passes. In the router table is a HP 5 HP router.
