Its surface finish is extremely rough, so it does its job fine, but does not get the job done. You should purchase a product that will grind the surface up to a reasonable smoothness before polishing it. There is a low rate of removal of the virus You need a saw to remove the majority of the material before running it through this, as it takes less than 1/16" per pass. For a shower, it is put on marble tiles.
