So I bought this for the first time, and I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was, but it turned out to be fine. Anything that comes to mind when I think of Dremel is a very dependable tool brand.
It worked for his project, which was to create fishing lures.
This carving bit is extremely efficient and simple to use.
While modifying a polymer gun stock, I ran into a few "problems. " I couldn't get the finish I wanted because the Dremel bits I had cut strange angles (cut off wheels) or I couldn't get the finish I wanted. (I recently purchased a Black and Decker "Dremel" tool, which I absolutely adore. ) Both models are compatible with the bits). This is where this little guy comes in. It was by far the best part I ordered for the project; it improved my life and reduced my blood pressure. Maybe I exaggerated about things improving in my life, but I didn't curse nearly as much.
This worked great for grinding into fiberglass in preparation for gelcoat repair.
Works as expected. I've never had a Dremel cutter fail to perform as expected; off-brand cutters are less expensive, but I prefer Dremel's overall quality and consistency.
lanterns. I bought this to add some finishing touches to my pumpkin carving. It was perfect for my needs. I did find that doing this activity outside is best, as otherwise you'll end up with orange pumpkin skin all over your kitchen!.
