Sandpaper that is absolutely amazing! Sanding is an important part of my work as I build rocking horses! It piqued my interest to see what these were actually made of. It is unimaginable how well I was able to sand 16 rocking horses in two sheets and have started on a third, all with the same amount of fluid! I had to sand six small pieces of my rocking horse just with 5 sheets of sandpaper I bought off amazon, even though I started on a 6th one! I am a very rough sander, and I think serious grit is an amazing thing under sandpaper! There's no better way to start your day than with a slice of apple pie! I would recommend it because it's worth the price and it saves both time and money since it uses far fewer sheets and works very quickly and.

I would certainly recommend this! Even though these sanding discs aren't quite as good as some of the more expensive brands (Norton, Diablo, etc. ), they are still better than you'd find in any "bargain/no name brand". The fabric is excellent, the abrasive is quality, and the velcro backing is decent. The following were my reasons for deducting one star Make the Velcro backing a little bit Once you have replaced it a few times, it starts wearing out and will produce balls that appear as deeper scratches if you do not catch them. 1) Although it appears the abrasive is at least somewhat friable, it appears to get less effective than other premium brands when there is still abrasive Thanks -) I hope.

In my life, I have used a lot of sanding discs and have recently been using 3M pads most often. These are not the 3M pads that are sold at big box retailers. There is a lot of difference between what you can buy here on Amazon versus what you can get at My experience with these after buying them a few times has been good, and I'm continuing to buy them. They stick really well and have lasted me a very long time. So far I have only used a dozen and that was on 1x pine that was junk treated. I recommend trying these if you do a lot of sanding and do not want to keep burning through pads. The next time I buy, I'll buy I've never had any problems with them and they're a great price! Reviewing items has never been my forte, but I do write them when they give me the satisfaction I desire.

This sandpaper definitely has some gritty particles on it! I use pallets a lot for projects around the house and in the shop. Since there may be broken nails in the pieces, I can't run them through my planer, taking the advantage of the fact that "a sanding belt costs less than a planer blade" as I have said numerous times to my sister. Normally, I would use my belt sander to clean them up and then use my orbital sander to smooth them out. I was surprised when I opened this box of sandpaper to find the sanding surface was far superior to the Makita discs I had previously used, and a thousand times superior to the cheap multipack I had br>I decided to use the 100 grit to clean up some 4 x 4s that I had and was amazed at how fast it removed the top layer of dirt. I will always buy this brand and can't wait to try out the coarser grades!.

About 100 pieces of furniture are handmade by me each year, as I'm a professional woodworker. It is needless to say that I do a lot The Serious Grit paper ranked much higher than the Klingspor, which was a pleasant surprise to me. has a longer shelf life and is more durable. Several different grits of both the 5 inch and the 6 inch disks have been used by me. Since I switched to Serious Grit, it has been my go-to.

This is probably not a fair assessment of these disks. The problem is. For my sailboat, I used these to sand its bottom. The negative impact of painting There is very high loading on the server. You can use a vacuum to collect dust. A layer of dust quickly built up on the back of the disk, preventing proper use of the hook to loop system. The next time I plan on using a grit pad I'll check out self-sticking pads. Despite its abrasive nature, the abrasive managed to stand up to its task. Buying this brand again would be a good option if it were available as a sticker. The following is also true If the application isn't as dusty, I think these disks will work fine.

Considering the rave reviews, I thought things would be even better. In the end, I ended up back at Ace buying more of theirs and was satisfied There's no reason for me to toss out the finer grits just because I'm not going to use them. The situation I find myself in at this point makes me not want to purchase.

Because of their long-lasting nature and serious cut, I find these to be of the best quality. My four grits are 150, 120, 80, and I use them with no problems and they ease the pain of sanding and sanding and sanding some more. If you are interested in serious sanding and serious savings, I highly recommend Serious Gritt. I would like to see 60 Gritt added to the list for even more serious grinding.
