These six-piece set includes: My sander's pad is the same size as the hole sheets. They're a tad on the large side. They have a good grip. A wide variety of grits are available. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It is not very long lasting. Easily and quickly rips and wears. Take 50- 100% more than another imported product I bought to remove the same amount of stock I bought to remove the same amount of stock I bought to remove the same a When the backing picks up a little sawdust (worst with the finer grits), the markings become unreadable quickly. br>br>Summary: br>br> I'm not going to return them, and I'm not going to buy them again.
Excellent quality; I used it to sand down the hood of my 1947 to prepare it for epoxy. Using these was a game changer, as it allowed my Harbor Freight DA sander to perform like a professional. I replaced a few 80 grit pads and put this to good use. It appears to be in good condition. It's fantastic to get two at this price. For storage, they are packaged in a zip-lock bag.
The holes lined up well for dust collection and there was good adhesion. It was successful when used on hardwood. br>I only tried "wet sanding" once and was less pleased than with traditional dry sanding. When wet, the pad quickly disintegrated.
This hook pad had to be substituted for the one on my buffer. I like the padding and the fact that it's a little firm for when I use a buffing pad to cover it. All of my attachments are held in place by the hooks.
A rotary sander, two discs, and some water Excellent work.
For a car repaint, I used several sets of these. On my DA sander, the higher grit varieties occasionally scratch the surface by forming small spots. This is also due to the sanding materials I'm using.
Abrasive with a very even grain that's ideal for auto painting.
On my drill press, I'm using them with a 6" backing pad.
