This package contains 1/4"x3-1/2" overall length HSS M2 pilot drill bits that have been ground to precision

A set screw is used to replace the pilot drills in the body

A quality tool steel that has been heat treated to a precise temperature

Questions & Answers

Where is the hollow in the center? Ideally, longer drill bits should be able to pass they the center, but that is not possible at this time. ?

There is no hollowness, just a hole in the ground. The bottom of the inlet (where the chuck can go) is solid.

It appears to be made from There's a step in the right direction there. While I haven't used it yet, there is sure to be a hole that needs to be holesawn very soon.
