You'll get three even if it doesn't last. For a much lower price! One has lasted about 150 holes so far, and I'll update when it snaps.
For the past 40 years, I've used drill sets. We'd toss the broken bit in the trash and head for the tool crib. The majority of the outlet stores in the area do not stock a 6-pack of beer. LONG bit 9/64 as a replacement So, as you might have guessed, I have a lot of old drill sets in my tool box. I don't have to worry about trying to fit an 1/8" bit into a sloppy arbor any longer. Thank you very much.
They heated up, burned, and smoked, as I discovered. I was in my early twenties when I wasn't using enough pressure when drilling screw holes. I was also pulling back on the drill to let the cutting go. They're simply not good enough.
These were purchased to replace ones that had broken in a DeWalt kit. They are compatible with the old countersink collars and perform admirably. So far, I've used them on hard wood, plywood, and MDF, and I'm only halfway through the three-pack. Pilot holes in wood can be drilled with these bits.
It's a great use, but it's done exactly how it's supposed to be When using a drill press or a hand held drill, the very small tip allows for extremely precise positioning when drilling. When pre-drilled holes were required, I had to use to install composite deck boards. Just make sure not to snap the bit when pulling it out.
hardwoods are drilled or whatever else comes to mind Taper bits are prone to breaking. After that, you'll have a perfectly functional countersink on your hands. With this three-pack, I was able to save some money.
If a product is made in China, do not include the word "USA" in the name. Very deceiving.
