Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to use this to convert my 3/8 impact driver into a hex bit to be able to use bits with my regular drill and 12V ?

During the conversion, 3/8 drive turns into 1/4 inch hex drives, so any drill bit or accessory with a 1/4 inch hex on one side can be used.

What are the chances that it is made in the United States?

My wish is that you will! Nevertheless, China is a threat.

What happens if I use a short double headed bit in the socket?

No, I don't think there's a good tool like that.

Are there any issues with the friction ring type of The review I read mentioned that someone had damaged ?

My hog fits just fine with it - My DeWalt DC823 impact wrench has a steel ring anvil. To get it to work normally, I have to press it against the floor until it catches all the way on the anvil. If I use arm or hand strength, I can remove it, but it is more difficult than removing

I wasn't expecting it to be what A bit holder that fits standard one-inch bits cannot be found here The bits are inch size
4/5

It's a one Bits that are not inch-sized can only be used with this adapter if they are inserted into a hex bit holder To be two-dimensional, bits must have at least two dimensions The adapter must sit completely inside the wires if they are longer than an inch. Due to its massive size, the adapter won't work well in confined spaces.

There's a wobble! Although it is not fair to expect this to function like a precision machine, its runout (wobble) at speed is well over 1/8 inch
3/5

The formatting is all over the place and too sloppy. Any finger pointing back to Milwaukee is due to this adapter, which is between a Milwaukee impact tool and Milwaukee bits. The driver runs true, and the bits are straight. It would be great if I could find anything that was made in America! The price is not especially cheap, but it isn't costly either, as I once heard in an instrument store.

I bought this after my hex impact driver was stolen out of my truck, and it works well on my SnapOn 3/8 impact
5/5

There is a 3/8" snap-on on the shelf- The one I had stolen had an impact that I figured I could use until I replaced it. Thanks for your help. I snapped the photo right away. There is quite a bit more power behind this tool than any other hex impact driver, and it doesn't have variable speed anyway, so it was a bit more difficult in my situation, but it worked perfectly. I was told I was going to break it every week by two workers in my shop. Their experience had been that they bought two of these and then stopped. However, several months later with significant use, the product is still holding up.

There is almost no problem with it
3/5

Immediately after receiving it, I made sure to play with it, and it was perfect. It was a bit of a challenge to take off from the first time. Over the course of a week, I found it to be a great tool. I noticed a great deal of slop after using the machine for a week. I can easily move it over an eighth of an inch in any direction without any difficulty. As a result, fitting the paddle bits together can be frustrating, and it might even make the driver lose a bit of power as they work at a fast pace It is important to choose the right As long as I keep it straight and don't wobble, it works when I really lay on it. Then why do we not lay on them with impacts anymore? In this case, if the fitment specifications were better or there were a way to lock it into place, I would give it a 5 out of 5.

I find it very useful
5/5

These are the tools I use most frequently at home since they are easy to use and come with a Kobalt 1/8" 24V variable speed impact driver. Since I have invested in a drill kit with bit ends that are standard 1/4" hexagonal, it is easy and quick to switch between drill bits and screwdriver bits. I found that the traditional 3 prong drill chucks do not hold the drills tightly enough so I had to spend a lot of time trying to retighten the chuck while the drill was stuck in the You can see the pictures of the special drills below. An adapter that is durable and good in performance.

Working with it every day is a necessity
5/5

It is great to have an adapter like this that works so well! Only downside I can see is that when I put my drill face down, it will break When I drop my bit down into a pipe or some other holder, I run the risk of the adapter being bumped and the bit falling into the pipe (yes, this has actually happened in the past). It would be easier to pull outward instead of inward to change bits. There are also times when the 3/8" square shaft can be detached. You could tap the holes and insert a set screw in the adapter because there are tiny holes on the adapter. It would have been better if they had done that at the factory. I don't have any complaints, except that it works exactly as it should. It seems like the mechanism is solid and doesn't jam.

An alternative to purchasing a 1/4" impact driver would be to suggest another type of Easy to attach to my 3/8 impact gun with this adapter
5/5

I was able to get the 1/4" hex impact driver after a bit of time. My 1/4" came in handy even though I already had another 1/4" quite worth the money you can't go wrong with this one.

How about making a 3/8 impact gun out of it? Yes, I think so
5/5

There are times when you meet a little screw who has In order to be able to use hex bits on those screws I purchased this for my Milwaukee Fuel 3/8 inch drive impact gun. Although that setup is difficult on bits and stuck screw heads, sometimes you have to sacrifice something for the greater good. The impact gun's torque is three times greater than that of a hex drive impact gun, and it impacts much more quickly.
