Unfortunately, this product is not made in the USA It is made in Taiwan, however. I have no problems with the quality of the parts. They are adequate for a It is evident that there is a limit based solely on the sheer point dimensions. This type of steel will be more durable than some other types, which are often poorly forged from lesser grades of steel. Furthermore, Taiwan is also a nation (the 'Chinese Nationalists' in exile) worth supporting if nothing else than not buying American made goods.
I never had the need to invest in a "shop grade" big set because they mostly did the job just fine. It does happen occasionally that I need a tool larger than a small hand-held wrench to fix a problem The nut is too far away from me or I can't reach it. I've been wanting a set of adapters to keep with my impact driver and this set works just fine. Taking the time to buy it years ago would have been better. The fact that I can wear 3" or 6" is so great, and that I can wear it with my different socket sizes.
The date is Within a couple hours of leaving the review, I heard from customer service. To try another, they offered to send me one. The customer service was incredible and they fixed it so quickly. I have not tried it yet, but just wanted to give them credit for how quickly they reacted and cared about The reason I went from 2 stars to 5 is because of this. It's great to have great support, as it makes the product even more appealing! There is no doubt these did the job. It's almost time to go. It was a day when I used both the long and short ones. I broke the bolt of the shorter adapter when I got to the last bolt with the shorter adapter. The tool was attached to a hammer drill only once on one job. Now I have to see how this bid one holds up, maybe I just got a lucky bid but I will have to buy another 1/2 inch.
To be able to use my impact sockets with a quick chuck Milwaukee bit driver, I purchased these. Designed for my motherboard, these fit perfectly into my sockets, and they are of a high The service is a time saver in the shop and I would highly recommend it.
Your drill will be so much better with these! To attach a socket to your drill, you can use any socket that you have. The only problem is that the sockets are loosely held. I would have given it 5 stars if they were not loose. This afternoon, I was using the 1/4 adapter and it kept falling off on me several times within an hour, so I taped it up so I wouldn't have to stop every few minutes. The rest of them are.
I've used my sockets with my portable drill and they work well. My tool box is much more organized with the holder for them. I can keep all of them together. The purchase I made is very satisfactory to me.
They seem well made, but 1/4" drive can only handle so much torque and work well for light-duty jobs. I have not tried them on rusty bolts yet and won't be trying them on rusty bolts either.
I am very happy with this. The durability or strength of this product can not be determined under high stress situations, but in most cases it won't be used under high stress.
