I'm going to use this It seems that Amazon lists quite a few 12 in hex bit holders, but as noted by WNCGuy, this seems to be the best* small diameter bit release collar, even smaller than on older and larger hex bit holders I found that the Dewalt bit holder was shorter I could release the bit by pulling the release collar away, so I was less likely to lose the bits when I removed them from tight holes likewise, the bit wobbled less than others I've used

This one has a problem on the hex side

Overall, it looks good, but isn't quite as good as the WAHA version. This holder has an issue with the long one being too long. No matter how I try to force it, it does not fit into my makita driver. It is only the desalt that is causing me problems out of my entire collection of bits and holders. There are too many desalt particles in the desalt.

There were some questions about the quality, but the product was satisfactory

For my limited DIY projects, the drill extender worked well. However, it had a bit of an out of round shape and wobbled a bit while I was using it. A bit of a problem exists with the quick change mechanism. It's not clear how durable the product will be. For more serious users, there might be a better option.

The most perfect thing that can happen. I found this to be very accurate. There was some oil in the release, which made it easier.

The spring realist on my 2 of these broke after not even a few minutes of use and it left the bit inside very disappointing item from DeWalt

It has a very secure hold and the magnet is strong. I wish I could clean it more like the flippable 1/4" to 5/16".

A superbly designed bit extender, will fit into even the smallest of holes. You should hold the wrench in the "unlock" position as you insert the bit to prevent wear and tear on the spline. You should also bottom out the bit in the holder when inserting, then place it in the The product is great. I'm very happy with it.
