No Good. I've got a Bosch GOP55-XXXXXXXXXXXXX 36B. This is the best plug-in you've ever seen. I've never seen an oscillating tool like this before. In comparison to my three old Fein tools, it's quite powerful. Starlock is an excellent character. The sanding pad that came with the tool, however, was useless. I purchased this pad in the hopes of finding something better from Bosch. This is the Swiss-made version, as opposed to the one with the tool. This pad has a unique design. The shape of the hole is different. However, it appears that the hook pad is identical. On either pad, the performance is useless. The problem is that the sand paper will not stick to the pad. The paper shifts after a short period of use, exposing the hook pad surface, which is easily damaged. The sanding action is also significantly reduced when the paper is loose. The original pad had the same issue, and this Swiss-made pad has the same problem. made pad. The same thing happened when I used Kingsford paper. It's time for Bosch to re-invent himself. This sanding pad was designed by a team of engineers. The Fein units do not experience this type of slippage. As a sander, this flaw eliminates the unit. (I recall seeing another negative Amazon comment about the Bosch sanding pad. ).
In fact, the pad started to melt as well. I tried a variety of sandpaper, but the results were the same. The pad is completely useless; once the tool is turned on, no sandpaper remains attached to it. I wish I'd realized earlier because it's too late to return it now.
Good, but I think I'll need an adaptor to change the angle of my AEG multi tool's triangle.
The paper had melted on the and I was only able to use a small portion of it.
I purchased the sanding pad to use with my Bosch oscillating tool, which runs on 18 volts. For the first few minutes of use, it seemed to work fine, but then something didn't seem quite right, as if it had stopped sanding. Upon closer inspection, the rubber pad had come loose from the tool's metal plate, allowing it to freely twist back and forth. As a result, the pad no longer oscillated, rendering it completely useless. It was a huge let down. I've never had a problem with any of my other Bosch products, so I'll have to try one from a competitor who is more expensive.
