I have used the old harbor freight multi tool to cut penny nails, and it cuts them in 15 seconds or less. One problem with these cut off blades is that they are expensive. You may be able to break pallets down with a carpenter nail puller, the type that slides. A craftsman's tool with 50% better Rockwell or close to it, a little less heat in the handle, ease of tool change, and less heat in the handle. The number of nails you could cut with one blade is unknown to me. I'd try using a friend's multi tool to find out. I would like to thank Glenn L. Rockwell for writing this review.
A denier type of fabric makes up the bag. Despite its large size, it can hold the tool with the blade attached but I remove it so as not to cause fabric damage. Each blade fits in a small plastic case that I kept in the bag with the attachments/blades.
There was no soft case included with my package, my hard case took its place.

While I have not used it much yet, it has carried out what I hired it to do so far. It's not exactly clear what the instructions are supposed to be. As I was removing the clamping mechanism the first time I installed the blade, I was slightly concerned that I was going to break the locking The arm held up strong when I pushed it hard, expecting the elbow to snap off, but it also held up when I tried to pull it off It is open. The 2-for-1 they offer is tempting but I hope I don't have to use it The arm is covered by a 3-year warranty in the event that it A quality tool, but feels and behaves like a cheap one. It would be great if they returned manufacturing jobs to the U. S.
My husband and I are about to install hardwood floors in the upstairs of our raised ranch style home. We use this tool to cut clean, flush cuts against our kitchen island and around the cabinet doors (1/2 inch plywood nailed to the The door casing had also been cut through in a matter of This was a very good product and I am very impressed The strength of this tool from Rockwell. The next time I use it, I will make sure to use it better. In a nutshell,.
I've got a lot more power than my 6+ yr-old Chicago Electric system (which just recently went out of service). The Rockwell's blades are also easy to change (you have to get used to loosening and tightening in a clockwise direction). Although it would be nice to have more blades in the tool kit.
The tool has been used very little during the time that I have owned it, and I cannot compare it with tools from other manufacturers. The system has performed to my expectations thus far. I'm glad to have it at hand if there's ever a need for it.
Everything she needs she can do with it -- cuts, sands, trims. She claims it is very light and easy to use, and that she found it very pleasing to the eye.
This is something I use almost every day. This cutter has a powerful motor, and the blades are easily changed. The hands are easy to control. An OVERUSE of vibrations is not a problem.
The Rockwell we purchased for my husband is the best. I find it to be a valuable.
I'm in love with it.
