There is likely some nasty ingredient that is prohibited in Florida or something that cannot be shipped via air.
The grease may have been used to lubricate the door as it slides along its track, but in that case Houdini would dissolve it to make it easier to clean A realignment of the door will cure the metal shavings if they are caused by misalignment of the door, and Houdini is unlikely to be able to solve that problem. The white lithium grease you would need to try to alleviate the situation would work Realignment is a good place to start, however.
There is no thickener like lithium grease in this product. There is a lot of oil in it.

I recommend this lock lube for its light weight and performance. There is salt air in the humid environment at my house. It is common for exterior lock finishes to become corroded. The tumblers are additionally lubricated and sprayed with a light film to protect the finishes. After around three months, the protective film begins to break down, and the process has to be repeated if corrosion is to be controlled. Although the corrosion protection seems to be better than a few other lubes I use, I'm not convinced. Despite that, the best feature is that it won't stain the paint (no graphite), doesn't damage the paint or the color of your drywall Any excess spray can be wiped off easily, and the coating is not greasy. The price jumped by about 33% after about 8 months of my purchase in January 2017. Now that I have found an alternative online supplier offering it for a more reasonable price, I have knocked off one star because the value proposition is becoming increasingly questionable as the cost.
It was difficult for us to open the exterior door because our lock was stuck. If you manage to lock it after 20 seconds or more, it might take you that long to figure out how to do that. The first solution was to have my husband replace the lock, but he changed his mind after mentioning lubricating it first, but some lubricants are petroleum based and might leave a sticky residue which will attract dirt, graphite is messy, etc. This is all blah, blah, blah (insert Charlie Brown voice here). It looks like this thing is going to break, so I'd suggest we get it repaired anyhow. On YouTube, he sees a locksmith talking about this stuff and how it is the only thing they use to protect their locks due to that residue stuff he talked about earlier. As a result, it gets to you quickly. The order was placed on Wednesday, and it arrived on Saturday. That seems fast, for a non-driver. The item in question is the prime I think MyLockStore has done a good job. As you can see from the pictures, I have included the packaging as I assume it is how it is usually So, my hubby sprays a couple of quick shots in the keyhole, inserts the key and turns back and forth, sprays a little more into the latch and turns the knob back and forth, and voilà, this thing is good to go. That may be a problem. There are some negative reviews I read, but they seem silly to me. Can I get 2 stars without a straw? I mean it. If you are interested in buying, contact The locks of someone else froze as well. As well as ours and those of It makes sense, I've read the negative reviews, but the majority of positive reviews are spot It isn't a bad scent either, by the way. My nose didn't feel minty, and it dissipated within a day. I'm not sure if it's minty but it didn't make me want to vomit. As a result, this stuff makes spraying much easier and more effective. I found it to work!.
There is no doubt that grease is good for large things that can't get oiled regularly (you need the lubricant to stay on) A hinge or a pivot holds everything together. There is nothing better than oil for tiny things, especially if it is able to circulate (engine in a car). Both of these things may not work because they gum up the works, so you may want to try PTFE or silicone instead. They're both slippery surfaces to which almost nothing is able to adhere. ****But this bottle says it contains no Teflon (PTFE), silicone, grease, oil, graphite, or silicone oil! So what the hell is in it, if it's not any of the above Houdini is no wonder he has a name like that. Several times I have used it for my apartment door locks, padlocks, and even my car locks and it does a great job. Because the door knob and handle were new, it was kind of gritty to turn them. It dripped so smoothly from the knob that I shot some of it down in the gap. After this experience, I became a believer. - At this point, it doesn't appear to be collecting any dirt. - It does, however, smell very citrusy. That being said, y. A very chemical smell almost permeates this product, almost as if you shouldn't be smelling it. Hey, that's y.
After a professional locksmith used this product to save my son significant time and money to repair two door keys for our home, I found out more about it It had been years since the locks on his old ranch truck worked. In my experience, I had some incredible experiences My ranch in Arizona has been equipped with padlocks from the same manufacturer for over a decade and a half. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In several of these locks, it's been 7*10 years since they were opened. I took a can of silicone spray lube and Houdini to these locks to test their ability. Once the locks were cleaned out of all the crud with Houdini they worked like new (after flushing out the accumulation of gunk). The silicone spray was applied 5 times more times to other locks and yet they still stuck or were Using Houdini, I squirted the same locks and they worked perfectly. Since that time, I have been working on Especially significant is treatments that are active on all locks on my home, garage, workshop, older cars, tool boxes, padlocks, etc. Even locks that worked "fine" before are now SO much smoother. Houdini makes locking systems so much cleaner by flushing out so much sand and dirt. The first time they worked, I was surprised at all. An absolute must-have for any DIY handyman or woman.
This is a problem for me since I live in the northeast. The best I could do was A silicone and lithium grease, as well as a dry lubricant, are included in Lockease, NAPA's version. Usually I take my car to a body shop first, but I bought Houdini before taking it to a body shop since it had a great name. My latch has not yet malfunctioned while the temperature has been as low as 8 degrees after spraying it with Houdini. I am in awe of this stuff! I saved $400 to $600 as a result. The following was forgotten and I wanted to add it. The other option I tried was.
Electrical locks can be protected with this little opener, but it is not thick. It wasn't quite back to normal at first, but then the next day when I started my car, boom, good to go on the first try. I sprayed the key slot and inserted the key over and over again, each one getting more easy than before. As well as working on a trailer pad lock that was partially secured, it worked perfectly on a gun lock.
