Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this as a compressor for a pressure washer?

Yes, I use it in my pressure washer, which has a ceramic piston pump and runs on 30 weight oil. It made my engine run smoother and quieter, and it's a great oil. Yes, it isn't a $5 oil, but it did help my pressure washer perform better. It's fantastic material, and I wholeheartedly endorse it.

According to one customer, this oil is a "synthetic blend." It's a "full synthetic" compressor oil, according to my understanding. Is there any truth to this?

The Royal Purple oil is entirely synthetic. There is no such thing as a "synthetic blend." If you see Royal Purple Synthetic Blend, it's either a typo or deliberate keyword spam from shady resellers who want to match as many searches as possible. br>br>In response to the other person's remark about Europe: Because my air compressor is more expensive than a new engine for my car, I'm just as picky about both.

Is it safe to use in R134a and R22 AC systems with PAG or PAO oils?

Despite the fact that I am familiar with RP Synfilm in terms of my application, I strongly advise you to call their 800 number. enquire about technical assistance They will gladly answer all of your questions, make product recommendations, and assist you in any way they can. Of course, you should provide products. The main reason I recommend calling them directly is that you will be able to have an open conversation with them, which is nearly impossible to achieve using Amazon's Q service. When you ask a question in an open forum, you have a better chance of getting an answer than if you ask it in a closed forum. If you don't have their phone number handy, you can call them at (888) 382-3822. 6300 The following is the address: One Royal Purple Lanebr>Porter TX, br>77365br>I realize this isn't a yes/no question, but I believe it will be the best answer in the end. What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

This is fantastic. The best oil for filling PCP rifles and paintball tanks with the Yong Heng 4500 PSI compressor. 12-th revision 2019 I've been using this oil for a while and have had no problems with it, such as color changes in the oilman or the smell of smoke. I abuse this compressor by running over a dozen guns and feeding over 4000 pellets per week to myself and several grandkids who enjoy shooting. This is well worth the money, and if you're using anything else in your Yong Heng, you're either very wealthy and can afford to buy more compressors, or you're a complete moron. There's no better way to keep your HPA compressor lubricated than with this. Period. This thing is going to be beaten up. Although well-cared for, it has been put to a great deal of use. If this oil wasn't any good, I'd simply call it a dud. This is not the case, fortunately. Purchase it and keep it for years to come as a wise investment. Although this compressor is made in China and is therefore less expensive than most, it is not a low-cost product, as this oil will demonstrate.

hpa compressor oil is a type of hydraulic oil that is used in hydraulic compressors
4/5

I bought royal purple for my hpa compressor for filling an air tank for my pcp gun, I have a Davv scu30 compressor and originally bought powermate px compressor oil, which turned dark quickly and smelled burnt, after only 15 minutes to fill a 90 Benjamin tank,so I did a before and after db test, with the powermate oil ranging at 90db and had a slight knocking sound, with royal purple dropped to 85db.

It had an impact
5/5

I must say, this oil has exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect it to matter so much, but it does. I was hesitant at first because I was paying a lot more than I usually do, but I'm glad I did. In my Husky Pro 60 gal, I changed the oil three times. I increased my horsepower to 5 hp, this time using the Royal Purple, and I immediately noticed a difference. It was quieter than it had been before, though not noticeably so. What amazed me was that I was able to touch the pump's sides without getting burned. After it cycled from 90psi to 140psi, I could literally hold my hand on the sides of the pump. That was a significant improvement over the previous situation, in which I would not have been able to do so. I'm not 100 % sure which oil I used in the past, but I am fairly certain it was the cheaper conventional from Home Depot. Time will tell whether the extra cost is justified, but for the time being, I'll continue to use this oil without reservation.

Synfilm Recipricating 100 Air Compressor Oil is Royal Purple Synfilm's flagship product
5/5

For its intended and intended purposes, this is an absolutely fantastic product. This is a 100 ISO (Synfilm Recip. ) photograph. Except in extremely cold climates, most air compressors use oil with a weight of 100, which means it's a 30 weight oil. which corresponds to an ISO 68, 20-pound camera. According to what I've read and heard from others who have used this product, it's just as good as, if not better than, comparable synthetic compressor oils, and it does make the compressor run cooler and quieter. The longer oil change intervals and increased protection provided by high-quality synthetic oils like this make the extra cost well worth it.

It appeals to Yong Heng
5/5

I'm using it in a Yong Heng and almost second-guessed my purchase before I got it because of online oil speculation (you know how that goes). I've had at least 2 hours of runtime so far and the oil hasn't turned black, and the compressor sounds great. When filling tanks at pressures of over 4000 psi, this is a huge accomplishment. As others have stated, I believe this is a good choice. I'll try to report back on what I find after the first oil change. When it's time for an oil change or inspection, the oil is dark, but the sight glass clearly shows bright purple, so a color change won't be as difficult as some people make it out to be. Because of the gear oil-like spout and easy fill control when topping off, this oil was probably a lot easier than others. So far, as with most royal purple purchases, I've been extremely satisfied. In light of the temperatures and climate conditions encountered, I believe this is the best option for a compressor that delivers consistent high performance. br>br>I couldn't find much information about this oil in a yong heng on Amazon, so hopefully this answers some of my questions.

It's a lot quieter and smoother now
5/5

The sound of a 40-year-old compressor running is noticeably quieter and smoother. It didn't at first, and it took about 30 minutes to an hour of running before it became quiet. The difference is noticeable, and it also sounds like it's running more smoothly. Will re- order once more.

The additional cost was well worth it! This synthetic oil was purchased for use in my John Deere 3800 psi pressure washer and a Central Pneumatic 21 gallon, 2
5/5

Air compressor with a capacity of 5 HP. In my home, I use my air compressor for routine house, deck, and car cleaning, as well as my pressure washer for auto maintenance and trim work. My friends will occasionally come over to use them, but I am far from a "pro" user. Both of these have been in my possession for about ten years, and I change the pump oil every spring. Between changes, I make sure to top off the oil as needed. In small engines, I've always used synthetic motor oil, but compressor oil has always been conventional. Normally, I just pick up a quart of any random compressor oil for around $8/quart and replace it. I was recently researching synthetic compressor oils and found Royal Purple to be one of the highest rated fully synthetic oils on the market, so I decided to give it a shot. For about five minutes, I used my compressor and pressure washer. I flushed the oil with the cheap stuff after 7 minutes. I restarted them and used an IR thermometer to check the temperature, then drained the oil and replaced it with Royal Purple. Both were noticeably quieter, despite the fact that I didn't have a decibel meter. I ran them both again after they had cooled down for a few hours and used the IR to check the temperature, which was around 10°F- The temperature has dropped by 15 degrees. They normally operate at around 220°F, but are currently operating at around 205°F-205°F. It's now 210°F, which is a big step forward. Although this stuff costs around $20 per quart, it is well worth it due to the lower pump temperatures and quieter operation, which I assume means better lubrication. Royal Purple is something I'll buy again without a doubt.
