I had been using a different product that leaves a yellow residue, but this one was totally different. As far as I can tell, this one is crystal clear and seems to work well. In my experience, it has stopped all rust on everything on my four trailers (lug nuts, axles, leaf springs, chains, winches, and ball assemblies). I bought the gallon and a cheap hand spray bottle from HD as it was much cheaper that It is likely that I would have had to use 3 Considering the amount of areas I had sprayed, I needed four cans. The motor on my buddy's outboard motors looks brand new even after about 7 years of using this product.
This is the real deal. It goes on like Windex and stays on forever, protecting even the most tiny br>In water or on land, I spray everything on my saltwater jetski, and it always looks brand new. There was no funky smell or residue afterward, as it did not slime or feel like silicone or WD-40 and it did not lightly lubricate. The paint does wash off, but not as easily as with soap. The best way to save money is to buy in bulk and to apply frequently.
Each time I put my boat or waverunner in salt water, I apply this product using a simple spray bottle. Metal parts are protected from corrosion by salt water when used with this product! It is significantly less expensive to use a gallon container of silicone spray rather than buying spray cans of only a single type of silicone spray.
In the case of corrosion and rust protection, this product performs well. I still feel that the large jug is a better value for the money than the small pressurized It's all you need if you get this and a cheap spray bottle.
The standard version is 8oz, but it's very expensive! My brother uses it and I don't think it will be as bad as my brother says! I would like to get some spray bottles to go with this larger container that my attorney has recommended. Using this product, we spray it on our equipment at the beach (salt water environment) in order to protect metal parts (boat trailer, trailer hitch, wheels, lawn mowers, weed wackers, etc. ) from being corroded by the harsh environmental conditions.
After every use of my waverunners, I spray this on them to avoid corrosion and rust. Every penny is worth it.
