One and a half more than one and a half. There are 3/8 threads on the bolt head and less than 15/16 threads on the bolt body

This adapter is very well made. The wood lathe is an Atlas wood lathe from the 1940s with a 3/4 hp motor The 16 spindles are on the table. As well as a midi size lathe with a 1" spindle, I have a modern CNC router. With this new machine I can use the chuck on both machines and other accessories from the antique machine can be used on the modern machine. An adapter that runs true and has good concentricity is at hand. Once on the finger, it spins tight when finished and releases easily. The value is very good and the quality is very good as well.
Due to the item being out of true and wobbling I cannot start my lathe, nor can I turn it accurately. Each of the three suppliers had different stock photos, however, the part is from the same manufacturer on all three. The company I found supplies a precision accurate part that is similar to that found on your website. This may not be the product for you if you're looking for quality and accuracy.
The report appears to be accurate. At the very least, true enough for wood turning of utility.
Thank you so much, I couldn't have found anything better! Taking my tiny headstock and making it a national issue.
Attaching my lathe's new chuck to this is how I use it. The chuck I was using had a 16 tpi, so an adapter was needed to install the new one. Amazon is also where I bought it.
The chuck was adapted to the wood lathe with no problems at all.
I found this solution to be extremely useful.
