Although I have never tried it on fabric, I see no reason to think that it would not work. Basic concept is an oval piece of plastic with lines drawn on it, about an inch wide or a little wider in diameter. About an eighth of an inch thick and containing a very small hole in the middle, this is a relatively thin product. When the center of the circle is found, a compass can be used to draw it. Put a piece of string around a pencil and pin the end to the center of the string if you do not have a compass large enough.
A diameter of 10 inches can be found on this. The center can be found using it on larger trees, but you will need to find the center on them using some imagination.
For instance, I've drawn circles on fabric with it. However, I did so by placing the fabric on foam core and using a push pin through both the fabric and foam core in order I don't know if you could achieve the circles without piercing the fabric and that is basically what I am doing. The circles aren't what you want and my way isn't what you desire either.

Center finders like this one always do what they were supposed This clearfinder makes it easy to judge the best center point of a workpiece while looking at important features of the workpiece because it is difficult to determine the best center point of an irregular shaped object such as a small log. This as well as other imperial-unit center finders do not offer a compass function, circle drawing function, or finer measurements, which are what are commonly provided by most metric-unit centers You can earn 5 stars if you provide those features.
A round centerfinder compass with a diameter of 10"! The statement "Is fun, accurate, and so helpful. ". At my workshop, I have it propped up against a tree trunk. The nail is there so I can easily pull it off at any time I need to remove the drawing. If you want to make an item such as a ring, bracelet, or dreamcatcher, you will find that circular patterns are perfect. The circle can be as small or as large as you like. It's a great way to go about it. The compass can very easily be used as is, but this is much more practical, enjoyable and has a variety of I get a lot farther with this compass when I use my imagination! I thank Amazon for the opportunity to review this product.
I would like to see larger holes. Like the ease of use and how clear the instructions are. My only wish is for the holes to be a little larger. If it gives you any clue about how small the holes are, a dull pencil isn't going to fit through them to draw a circle. I use it to mark out blanks of wood for wood turning because the center hole is perfect. I waxed many blanks already and I use a sharpie, so I cannot use a sharpie on these blanks as well. In spite of this, it's easier than using a compass, which is what I formerly used.
In order to use this as a center finder for wood turning, I purchased it. I find it very useful for that, and I'm finding additional uses for it too. For example, I sometimes use it as a woodworking compass as well. Heavy use of the tool has not caused the tool to break after prolonged use, and the user is not prone to leaving the tool lying Made of high-quality materials and easy to use.
It is much faster to round corners this way. However, it shines the most when used on items that are almost round. Imagine you have a log which needs to be turned. This is really helpful to lay it on top of the round and see where it lies. It has actually been beneficial in more ways than I expected.
do like the concept, but drawing circles smaller than the maximum diameter of the circle is impractical. Because the holes are too small to fit a large pencil, the lead breaks on my small pencils. The holes are also too small to fit a pen head into them.
Chain-sawing logs and rough cut wood that I use to make furniture is most of what I turn. To make the turn more accurate, I center the part using this little guy. In the event it broke, I'd buy it again immediately.
The package was received as expected, but I only got the package and not the center finder. I anticipate the package fell out somewhere along the way since it was never sealed. As far as I can remember, I had to reorder the center finder, and it came on time as expected - I gave zero stars if it were possible.
