The hose is light in weight, easy to roll up, and well made. I can't say enough how relieved I was to discover a Hybrid hose that wasn't bright orange, green, yellow, or red. I understand that this isn't a big deal for most people, but I was glad to see Storm Gray. It was also nice that the O/D was much smaller while the I/D remained the same, as it was replacing a 30 year old polyurethane. You can not go wrong with 100% life time warranty on top of that and you can not go wrong with 100% life time warranty on top of that and you can%.
It's a nice hose, a little lighter than rubber and a little more flexible than plastic hoses. In the winter, I haven't used it. I'd forgotten about it and had put it off until now. In fact, once I realized it, I put it under pressure for over a week to see if it would fail and then write the review. Everything is in order.
From the looks of it, this is a high-quality hose. I've only had it on the reels for a day, but I'm liking it so far. Because the reel hose stop was slightly smaller than the other hose on there, I put a few layers of elect tape under them and they seem to work fine, and we'll see how the lifetime warranty works out in the future if they fail. I always keep all my paperwork and try for warranty when it's offered.
Hands down, the best poly air compressor hose on the market. This hose was intended to replace my Flexzilla hose. The flexibility is similar, but my Jaco feels more solidly constructed; I don't believe you can find a better hose for the money.
Because my garage gets pretty cold in the winter, I used this hose to replace a plastic one on my air compressor. The fact that this hose is noticeably heavier is neither surprising nor bothersome, but it would benefit from some sort of "hose wrangler," (which could be an accessory, but I didn't see one).
I was initially concerned that the aluminum NPT fittings indicated a low-cost product, but to my surprise, this is the best shop air hose I've ever had or used in a professional setting. So far, after 5 months, this hose has performed admirably.
I bought this to replace my rubber air hose, which I use in the garage and to nail trim around the house. This hybrid hose is lighter and more flexible than my rubber hose, but it also feels more rugged and durable. I would buy this air hose again if I needed it.
Everything I've seen and experienced with this product has been positive. I'm very happy. Lightweight, highly adaptable, and well-made. The only concern will be its long-term viability. But that won't be known for a long time. It appears to have a long life ahead of it.
