The drain plug in my machine came in this style. He must have installed some weird thing on his. The purchase was to replace the old one. It works as it should.

I found it easy to install, but the fitting was extremely precise. The older model could not be removed due to a problem with the product and a bug with the packaging.

Make sure the size is right, it's a little small

I was not able to use the unit. The unit ended up with a brass shaving on it. Tractor Supply had a replacement that I bought in person, and it was a perfect.
