The nails were attached almost below the lower nail pocket, but never in my 25 years of working as a professional carpenter have I seen a nail bag where the nail pouch covered the hammer loop to the point where you had to push it to the side to use it. Especially the pencil holders. Just don't use them. Who among those who make these things has ever even worn a tool belt and knows how it is supposed to work? My plan is to toss it out on the work site and feel sorry for those who find it and pick it up.
I looked through dozens of cheap, so-so belts. I will definitely enjoy this one for a long time to come.
