I think it would be a fine design for tools, but I do not think it will be good for fasteners. It is relatively easy for screws and such to shift from side to side. As a result, I got it for a cheaper price than I did with A leather product and condura product are available. For a professional tradesman, this bag wouldn't be a good choice. In my opinion, this is kind of junky. The one I had was given to a friend. My old one is still in use.
An 18 pocket tool pouch with fewer pockets that is thinner and cheaper. Having ordered this on 2/24/13 and received it two days later has made my life much easier. After I opened it, I found that it was the same pouch as 5719 18 pocket tool pouch, which Amazon replaced one day later The pouch I received today is not the 19 pocket heavy duty pouch pictured in the picture, but rather the 18 pocket heavy duty pouch. As soon as I called Amazon again, I informed them that this listing is incorrect. Within a few moments, the electrical supply company that my company deals with (yes, I am an electrician) also called me. They have the same problem, showing the picture and listing as a 19 pocket, so then listing it as an Buy this instead of this, it is cheap, as cheap as Wal-Mart The price of this is ridiculous. I don't know what happened to Klein, but this is ridiculous. I purchased the book for $50 (before refund, thank you Amazon), even with prime shipping. I cannot even imagine where the book would be available for this low of a price. Since, yes, this thing is not that expensive. In the past, Klein pouches were synonymous with quality, but that has changed. However, I still buy and use Klein hand tools, and I am thankful to say the quality hasn't declined. There is no way to fully separate the pouches within the outer case. This pouch is divided into two with a nylon flap, but the flap is not riveted or stitched to the fabric, so it will not be sealed from the other pouch. It is impossible to place fasteners in pouches without them intertwining.
Based on my hands-on experience with this product over a 6-day period, I give it a positive review Professional satellite installer with a work schedule of 25 hours per week. Approximately six years have passed since this Klein tool pouch was made. This is an excellent product that I would recommend to any tech, and I will purchase it.
I ordered another tool bag after my first one had a couple holes wore into it after 10 years and it's not even close to the original. It is a very thin material, the bag doesn't retain its original shape when you bend over, the tools shift around in the bag when you bend, and I am constantly picking up my tools both There is no dividing line between the top and bottom pockets, so you have to juggle your pliers and crimpers and keep an eye on what you are getting at. My Phillips and flat head swirleys do not fit the in the bottom and fall out. (I also have all klein tools) In 24 years of doing electrical work, this is by far the cheapest bag I have ever owned and it is very difficult to use.
Compared with other pouches I have tried, this one is much more comfortable, especially paired with the Klein woven belt. The pouch has plenty of space for my needs, is comfortable all day to wear, and hasn't ripped or torn so far.
Very well constructed.
