This is black, and it's well-made

I was expecting brown, as most of my older Klein holders were (as shown on many websites). When I contacted Klein, they informed me that all of their holders will be black. Their older stock is brown in color. br>br>The holder is large enough to hold iron working pliers, a folding ruler, and one or two screwdrivers. The letter "S" at the end of the model denotes the presence of a snap, which is riveted to the ruler pocket (on the right).

It does exactly what you want

has performed admirably in everyday use. I haven't had any issues. This, along with two other Klein tool holders, make up my tool belt. Allows me to carry a wide range of tools while keeping them close to my body for maximum mobility. My only criticism is that neither this nor Klein's comparable tool holders include an electrical tape holder. However, overall, I am very pleased.
