It's very good at staying closed. For me, the most important feature of a compartmentalized portable storage container is how well it latches and whether it is prone to accidentally opening when jumbled or dropped. This one has already had both of these things happen to it, and it has remained securely closed. The top of the case was well-fitted to the dividers, allowing items to stay put even when the case was dropped. I was so impressed with this product's performance that I ordered five more to organize my shop's hardware.

The case fits perfectly in my tool chest drawers, and the pockets are larger than I expected, so the case's actual utility is ideal.
