Questions & Answers

Why is this mat made of this material?

A raised waffle surface on the top side appears to be made from a synthetic rubber-like material. Heavy tools will leave a slight impression in the surface, a handy feature when a replacement tool is needed. You cannot move the tools around in the tool box when you close the drawers with the waffled surface. My tool box was full after I had loaded them. I moved them to another room, and they all looked like they had their The product is excellent, and I recommend it highly.

The pad is thick, but what is its thickness?

According to Nate, it had to do with Its thickness is about the same as a washcloth. Mine hasn't ripped, I've had it in my truck tool box almost a year, it still looks as good as when I put it in first!

Can the liner be moved around in a tool box drawer?

Throughout my almost a year's usage, there has not been a single slippage in any drawer lined with Reizen Tech. My first drawer liner for toolboxes was installed in 1969, so I can comfortably say it is the best tool box liner I have ever used.

Can this product be placed anywhere without it slipping? Will it stay in place when positioned as desired?

Since I have had the Reizen Tech HD tool box liner for over two years, I am quite happy with it. I have two large tool boxes as well as two mobile tool boxes that travel in rough concrete and asphalt streets with bumps, potholes, and broken concrete. All of my tools in both mobile boxes seem to be doing Although the contents of the boxes sometimes shift as a result of uneven terrain, the box liners have never shifted. I don't have an issue with the stationary tool boxes in my garage. Since 1969, when I got my first tool box, this has been the best tool box liner I have ever used!

A good start, not a great one
4/5

After reading all the reviews, I shopped for a number of products, and I ultimately settled on this one due to its favorable reviews and Because of its durability and thickness, the product is very sturdy. It looks like it will last a long time.

One of the reasons I selected it was because it stated there were grid lines to cut along when cutting to size. Although there are grid lines to follow, they are very difficult to make out. When you do not stare hard at the lines, it is easy to get carried away and move onto another sector. In this case, we had a lot of difficulty cutting it to size. It was eventually cut to a size that was close to what I needed, put in the drawer, and I used a razor to snip it to size. It was much more effective to do it this way. The liner really helped hold the tools in place, as many reviews noted. To a certain extent, this is true. While the tools stay in the drawer if the liner is on them, it does not stay in the drawer when there are tools It is advised not to open the drawers without gently guiding them closed with your hand or if they have soft close drawers. The momentum from the pulling tools will pull the liner out of the drawer and bunch it at the back. When you work in a shop environment, you don't always have time to be so kind. It is likely that I will look for some double-sided tape or something with more tack to put under Although, I find it kind of absurd to apply a liner over a liner. Having said that, if it weren't for these two issues, I would be extremely happy with the product. However, after using it for about a month, I have a lukewarm reaction.

You need to be wary of this product sticking to your tools
3/5

The other day I discovered that my hammer was stuck to the mat, as if it had been glued (which it had not). The hammer I pulled from the mat was covered in "mat gunk" after being freed from the mat. Although I had this issue with other lighter tools before, this was the worst I have experienced. It is impossible to give this product one star as I enjoy virtually everything about it (so, I shall not give it one), but I am really unable to give it five stars. It is also a book I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The Craftsman Tool Chest Liner adds great functionality to your tool chest
5/5

A liner can be added to a tool drawer or any other cabinet. A Craftsman tool box with top and bottom dividers (53" wide) I recently purchased no longer has drawer liners available at Sears. In brick and mortar stores and on the internet, I searched and searched and searched A number of online stores are available. In light of how much floor area I needed to cover, each one was extremely expensive. There were many options to choose from, but I did not feel that most of them would stand up to wear and tear. In order to ensure that the drawer wouldn't smash into the bottom if I tossed a wrench into it from a distance, I wanted the underside to be thick enough to be protected. For it to remain rigid and durable, I needed a solid pattern to it. As well as matching the color of my tool chest, I also wanted a liner that matched the color of the drawer the chest came in. . . . I originally thought of going with a black liner, but I am pleased I believe the tools contrast much better with the red than they would have with The red looks better than the alternative colors, but the former would have been fine as well. To complete my project I used (2) rolls of paper, and I left a little extra just to cover any potential gouges. I measured each drawer very carefully and cut them very carefully. My work flow was significantly streamlined and simplified as a result of the liner's geometric weave pattern. It was easy to cut straight lines with the lines on the liner hence, the finished piece looks like it was factory cut. The Riley Tech Heavy Duty Tool Box Liner 18 Inches x 24 Feet 18 Inches x 24 Feet 18 Inches I found it on Amazon and it's perfect for me. It appears to be high-quality and I'm satisfied. The delivery time on Amazon is lightning fast. I appreciate you providing such a good.

The surface is not very "slip resistant"
3/5

The pro's are The thin, thick and economical strips are easy to cut. The cons are Use of a drawer liner in a tool box causes the liner to slip. A shop vacuum was used to clean the drawers, which were then cleaned with acetone beforehand. The drawer liners were creeping to the back by about It was worse when drawers were heavier loaded. It doesn't necessarily have to be hard to get past the detent, just enough effort will do. I was trying to avoid covering a nice box in spray adhesive or double-sided.

Craftsman is perfect for this
5/5

It is holding up well to my metalworking tools, so I use it to line drawers of a craftsman tool chest for a custom welding cart. The material is significantly thicker than I anticipated, so I am using it for more spots that I initially expected. My liners usually tear when I am not careful with their storage after I put away a grinder or heavy air tool. Apparently, the thick liner holds tools better as well, probably because the tool sinks a bit into it. I don't have to worry about my cheat rattling around when I push it around, and I don't have to worry about the drawers closing too hard. This is a very satisfactory result for me. I used a fabric cutting mat and a fabric cutting wheel designed specifically for fabric, along with a metallic sharpie to mark the cut lines. It was easy to cut to length. Cutting along the lines that are embossed in the material with scissors and not using a sharpie or something to make sure you stay on track would easily lead to losing your cutting mark.

It is thick and not flimsy A non-adhesive, adhesive tape Insert liners in drawers and shelves to prevent slipping
5/5

No. 1 in other categories A shelf liner with adhesive is There are 3mm of this thickness, which is textured for gripping glasses, cups, plates, and so on. In contrast to those adhesive types that, after a while, get stuck down so much that when you try to remove it, it will rip into pieces that won't let go. Even when it does come off, though, there are adhesive remnants left behind. I put the curled side down. They come in a roll, so I put that To represent the double-sided tape, I used a strip This is a X-shaped chart The leading edge can be repositioned by using tape to hold it on. This dish rack grips both surfaces, so it will grip the dish rack and shelf at the same time. A sponge soaked in soap and water can be cleaned easily, or the surface can be sanitized with pre-wash liquid A container of moistened wipes is Toolbox liners were originally marketed as liners for toolboxes, but are perfect for shelves and drawers as well and are easy to adapt. If the strip of tape is applied, the dish will lay flat and not curl up as dishes or pots and pans are slid into position.
