Some thicker handles can fit through the dividers despite the fact that they shouldn't. br>PRIOR TO ORDERING, CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR TOOLS WILL FIT STANDING UP IN YOUR DRAWER. Despite the fact that two of my large cutters prevented my drawer from closing, I have enough to fill all of the slots. The dividers are made of plastic, and the bottom is made of rubber. As shown in the photo, the base is just shy of 1/4" in diameter where the handle or head rests. I don't think putting the head in the slots will work because they're usually smaller than the handles; some might, but the smaller ones would lean over, despite the fact that they'd still be organized nicely. This saved a lot of space and made finding the right pair of pliers, dykes, and other tools much easier. br>I'm not sure what the purpose of the top mount is - I'm hoping it's just for show because the tools don't have a locking mechanism, so I can't see it being used on a wall.
Get rid of the mess, get rid of the tool piles. Can you imagine fitting 60 or more hand tools into a single tool box drawer, all of which can be easily found, removed, and replaced when needed, and all of which can be stored in a way that eliminates clutter and tool piles? This is how you organize your toolbox. br>br>This is a well-designed product with a rubber base that will keep these organizers in place even if your tool box drawer doesn't have liners. They're also shaped to "cradle" the tool, keeping it secure while allowing easy removal. Reach in with one hand and grab the tool you need. Put it back where it belongs when you're finished, and you'll never have to dig through piles of tools or look for that one special item you require. br>br>The spacing between the tools is ideal. It holds everything from pliers to pipe wrenches to, well, take a look at my photos. These are without a doubt the best tool organizers I've ever seen or used. I liked these so much that I bought ten of them for my new toolbox. I've already decided what I'll give as gifts to tool owners. These are for everyone's use and benefit. br>br>I searched high and low for a system to store a wide range of tools of various lengths, widths, and heights. This is how it works. There is no unused space in the organizer. Remove the clutter and store the tools in a convenient location where you can find them when you need them. Take a look at my most recent photo. That's the drawer before these organizers were installed; the other photos depict the results after they were installed. br>br>Buy these; you will not be disappointed. I believe that if someone does not like these tool organizers, they should simply give their tools away because nothing will make them happy.
Although it isn't perfect, it is a damn good product. This has plenty of room for all of the pliers, adjustable wrenches, channel locks, quick release/lock adjustable wrenches, and vicegrips I put in it. br>br>The base is shaped, which makes things fit better in some cases but not so well in others. Instead of digging to find the tool, I can quickly grab what I'm looking for. To test it out, I purchased one of these. I liked it so much that I bought five more to clean out the entire drawer after only a few days. This drawer was a jumble of digging until you found what you were looking for. Now. I don't have to dig to see what's here, and I can easily see what's there. All three of the shallower drawers above would have been required to keep all of these easily accessible, but I still have plenty of room for more wrenches! Thank you for sparing me the expense of purchasing a new box to store all of my belongings.
I was initially sceptical about using a plastic organizer in my toolbox because I assumed it would break under the weight of heavy tools. I'm happy to report that I was completely incorrect. The vertical dividers are made of a rigid, strong plastic that is also flexible. The rubber bottom keeps my tools in place while I roll my box around the shop, which I like. I used one to keep track of my wrenches in order of their importance. They've shrunk from 1/8" to 2" and now take up less than half as much room. I also used one to organize my pliers, and my drawers now have a much cleaner appearance. I've got a snapon master series box that's a little on the small side. I can store more than guys with boxes twice the size, thanks in part to organizers like this one. I'll be ordering more as soon as possible, as I need to make room for more new tools!.
I found a larger one for the same price at HF, and I am happy and satisfied with it, and I would recommend it. br>br>I also included a couple more photos of how I used this product to organize some of my saws and hammers. br>.
If you force the fins, they will bend, but they are not fragile. br>Place it in a deep drawer with a floor liner. After shaking the drawer to see how well it would hold up, the divider kept everything in place. br>I bought a second one, which I intend to modify by removing a few fins to allow for wider tools. If you have a drawer depth of 3", this is a good option; otherwise, you'll have to cut the fins to fit.
I wanted my jewelry-making tools to be easily accessible on my work table rather than hidden away in a drawer, so I prop them up on their handles so I can see which one I need. I have two along the back of my table that hold all of the important tools I need at all times, and they're well-made. They are well-made, sturdy, non-slip, and attractive. My only wish is for the dividers to be a little higher, but then they wouldn't fit in drawers as well as most people would like. The manufacturer may consider looking into this and designing something specifically for this purpose.
