It is very easy for me to feel the industrial grade of this when I put it on. Unlike those thin cloth aprons with a loop around your head and ties around the back, this one is made entirely of cotton. You can cross your shoulders across padded areas on this apron as the shoulder straps cross over Each of the straps and each of the shoulder pads can be adjusted. When you jump out of an airplane, you probably want to do this too it's like having a parachute attached. That type of industrial sounds good to me. This cotton is waxed so it will last for many generations to come. You are not supposed to use detergents on it when you wash it. You should be able to hose it down and let it drip dry most of the time. When troublesome areas need to be dealt with, castile soap can be used. There are a lot of reasons I like this jacket. The color, the fit, the fact that I won't be shot by stray bullets passing through my shop. You'd be surprised at how easily it's able to prop up a piece of thin trim if your table saw kicks back a thin piece. Additionally, you can wear a separate side pouch in addition to the multitudes of pouches on the front of the bag, or even one on each side. When it came to the sides, I had at first thought I wanted pockets for me to put my hands into. When I realized it had them, I was shocked. Using a snap button, they can be secured. It stays up, but you can tuck the side pockets in with your hand. This is a price that is tempted me to get another one for the same amount of money. You wouldn't be able to find another one of this level of industrial grade quality if it were ever lost At this price, it is a great deal. I highly recommend this.
Despite the age of the building, they are in excellent condition. I smell old school canvas tent when I'm holding a tent covered in thick canvas. My favorite part about it is the distorted sound (which I In the case of a canvas tent, I have experienced dissipation of the odor. The price at one of those famous outfitter shops must be very expensive! There is no way to overstate how much I encourage you to try this.
Getting oil and grease on my clothing is a common occurrence when working on engines and machines, so I ordered this apron so I would not get it on my clothes. The fact that it is made of leather, but is totally waterproof, makes it even more remarkable. It is very very durable and proof.
