It is true. Sparks from my abrasive cutting were burning holes in my welding jacket, so I bought it. I have so far been protected by both my clothing and myself. Having a good understanding of my body mechanics helps as well.
You do actually cover your knees with this. Approximately 5 inches above my knees, which is good for me since I am 6'2". There is an adjustment for the shoulder straps so that the little fellas and little girls can carry it comfortably Having their knees covered is also an option for the big guys. There is a one size fits all approach.

As long as I keep it on I can protect myself from weld spatter, sparks from grinding, and hot metal that slips from your tongs. Now you won't have to burn your jeans anymore. Furthermore, I'm not a small guy, so it covers my chest and shins as well. That is why it is so popular with guys of a larger stature. This belt is easy to put on and take off since the buckle around the back allows for quick access. Throughout the years I have worn out several canvas aprons fast, but this one has handled everything I have thrown at it, and I abuse every product I own. I don't know if I will be able to buy it again based on how well it is holding up. The forge is covered in soot and metal shavings, but this is one of the best books on the subject.
This is a serious matter A slick work apron like this is a MUST! What is the best place to start? Well, I ended up getting it because I had to fill out the money for the add on, and figured if nothing else, I had a good chunk After opening the box, I read the instructions inside.
HOLD ON TO YOUR HEELS! KAWABUNGA HOLY MOLY! It has more pockets (and they are positioned well) than my denim layout apron. I don't know who Qeelink is, but I've never seen a piece of leatherwork axo much better than this. In the lower half of the range An example of a calf is I love the 6' amazon because it's the perfect length. The necessary rivets are placed where they are A leather jacket made of thick, strong suede that is well finished and free of There is a thick webbing strap as well as nylon straps. You'll find two "hammer rings" on either side of the pockets on the lower half. Then I oh my gosh. The fact that they have an Asian designer should not dissuade you from purchasing totally blown away by the quality, the heft, and the construction of this awesome apron for the forge and welding. Can you blacksmith? Have you done any work on the foundations? What is the general purpose of the shop around here? We are dealing with the DEAL of the century. If I don't get one, I may pick one up, since they are so cheap (but not "cheap"), and are so damn The only problem is that I cannot see a single failure point. The writers really hit it out of the park with The easier I am to impress, the less likely I am to be If I have any spares, I might grab one for a visitor or student. It's almost too good to let students and visitors in. I want to say hello to Victor, Lincoln, and all of you I urge you to reverse engineer these things because they did it very well, and (and I'm not kidding) they REALLY pulled it off.
The quality of this purchase impressed me and I was happy with how it turned out. My waist is 46" and I am really tall and it still fitted perfectly since I have a 46" waist. This wallet's leather is thick and supple at the same time. There is no comparison to the quality of this apron to what you would get at HF, where I almost bought a quality apron that was cheaper. In addition, it was thinner and less expensive, as well as smaller overall. The quality of this product is a great compromise between that poor quality one and the pricey high end models.
Getting the pocket layout right is important when you have a long apron. It is designed to hold a case and an iPhone X securely. Having sweat on the leather makes the phone dial your emergency contacts when facing away from your body. The back straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. I've had the apron for 2 months and my only complaint is that the threads holding My new rivets are reattached with clear Gorilla glue, and more will be added later. It is likely that factory threads were stronger or better tie-off procedures were implemented.
It seemed that this apron was a bit too big to me. As it turned out, the straps fit me perfectly once I adjusted them. The welders have been hitting hot sparks lately and I have been wearing it in the '80s or higher lately. I still prefer this over being burned by a hot spark. It is not evident that the product has worn out after a few months. The letter P. To those that might be guessing whether it will fit them, I am approximately 5'8" tall with a 43" chest and a 32" waist. As far as I'm concerned, the length falls below my knees and provides more protection. Having lived for over 60 years, my waist size has increased slightly, but a person taller and more muscular than I can ever hope to be could easily wear this apron. Despite my weight and height not changing very much over the past 45 years, I still find it hard to maintain a healthy diet. As soon as I left home, my food bill was halved, so my father celebrated. I need pockets for all my needs, so I make high-quality sewing.
It provides me with plenty of coverage for a great price. The shirt fits perfectly for me. I'm 6' tall and weigh 225 pounds. This is a quality bag made from soft leather and high-quality stitching. The HF apron I have is much smaller and this is much better. There is a less expensive one on Amazon, but this one is long enough to cover my shins and is six inches wider. In addition to covering my knees when I sit, it also covers a few inches below them. It was a great purchase that I would definitely make.
I found that the fit was easy to adjust and the garment hung well when not being worn. It is rather orange and not brown.
A couple of minor issues.
A, the color is not brown, but quite a bit of a bright orange tone. I dislike that about the leather, but I have leather dye, so I should be able to fix The adjustment side of one strap was facing inwards (toward my back) instead of outwards. One of the straps was badly threaded and needed to be replaced. Still, it is a simple problem that can be resolved. This would have been a five star product if the packaging was the correct color and build out of the product.
The apron is very useful for blacksmithing and for carving in the wood shop. I bought two, one for my son and one for me. My son uses it for the blacksmith area at Boy Scout camp. There are some seam issues on one pocket but it can easily be repaired.
