on but. When you consider what a wrench like this will be used for, it's a fantastic deal. I usually use it to hold the head of a bolt in place while loosening or tightening the nut with a socket. The wrench is ideal for the task at hand. Last night, I used it to remove and reinstall bolting on a gearbox. If I don't lose it, I'm confident that this wrench will serve me well for the rest of my life.
If you have a Rogue power rack, this makes putting it together and taking it apart a breeze. I buy two of these because I move a lot. It was much faster to disassemble and reassemble the power rack than it was to use the uncomfortable and much smaller wrenches that Rogue sells and ships with their products. These were well worth the money in order to avoid hand cramps and long tightening sessions. Simply amazing!.
As soon as it arrived here, the chrome plating began to flake off. I tried cleaning it up at work and was able to remove the majority of the flakes, but it's still there. To avoid being cut by the tiny fragments of chrome flakes, I have to wear gloves when using this. When I asked for a refund, they told me that due to a new Amazon policy, I'd have to buy it again. Regrettably, the tool was required. If you value your hands and appreciate a finished, clean product, I'd recommend purchasing one from somewhere else.

The wrench's open end measures 1 3/4 inch, but the box end (at least 1 7/8 inch) is significantly larger. I'm not sure if this is a one-time thing or not. I'd pass if you need this tool for the box end because of a design flaw or because of cheap manufacturing tolerances.
This wrench was purchased to go along with a barrel vise that I recently purchased. For the price and intended use, this is a great wrench!.
