The e14 wrench I needed was not with me. In my possession were multiple e14 sockets, which all fit the bolt I was trying to loosen perfectly, but I did not have enough clearance to attach a ratchet. My BMW needs these. I bought them for them. I used them to replace the starter on a 325 and it couldn't have been any easier. I highly recommend this set to anyone who does it themselves with Bimmers. These external TORX bolts are an advantage over Gearwrench ETORX because with these bolts, you may not have enough clearance around the head to use the Wide Gearwrench. There is a lot of quality in these wrenches, and they have a thick shaft that won't dig into your hand too much. In ETORX, the best deal is for the price.

Although the casting is quite poor, especially on the smaller sizes, you can quite easily turn a bolt with it. In the end, it isn't going to matter if you are a home mechanic, as you only need it a few times a year. As a recommendation, if you are looking for a good set of tools, I suggest the VIM Tools It is slightly more expensive, but it has excellent castings.

Those words come from a guy who owns quality USA-made tools worth more than $10,000. It has been hard to find external torx wrenches in the past. So, back when I had a Jeep 4, it had a 4-cylinder engine. This left me with only two bell housing bolts to pull (on the top of the bellhousing). I looked again and found them. While Snap On has a version, I preferred a less expensive alternative due to the price and how infrequently I use them. Using the E12 wrench, I turned the wheel. I could not get enough leverage to break the bolts loose with this wrench, which is the second smallest here. Thus, I put a small cheater bar in place and broke the bolt. The wrench I used was made in Taiwan, and I was quite certain I would break it, but luckily it stood up well. Considering the price of $32, this is a real As a result, I saved myself two hours and a lot of effort fumbling around with swivels and extensions trying to get a socket on these bolts (that's how I got a socket on them the last time I pulled one).
