This is the first dud I have encountered A gearwrench tool is one of my favorite gears in heavy equipment mechanic
3/5

A few items stand out from my collection the sae/metric Master Regular Wrench Set, the 120 XP Flex Head Ratcheting Wrench Set, and the 114 piece tap and die set from LG. This metric crows foot set includes a die set, 1/4" drive impact socket set, E-torx socket set, 120xp ratchets (all sizes), and a 1/4" drive impact socket All things were 5 stars until this horrible set of crows landed on my review. Gearwrenches are different from other wrenches because of none of them are made from the same metal. They are extremely soft and will bend or mar the surface when you apply too much torque to them. Using these at home may be okay for a part-time mechanic, but it should never be done in a professional workshop. While GearWrench has managed to save me plenty of money so far, this is one of those times where I'll spend a little extra on a tool truck. FYI- A set from on costs $300 and a set from Despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to find anything in the $80 price range. I would be tempted by it because of the price, the gearwrench brand, and it doesn't miss any sizes, but trust me, it's a cheap set!.

When you play crowfoot, there are only a few things you can make incorrect
3/5

This is the first time I've heard of 11-foot-tall cats It is so hard to find a good SAE crowfoot set. Despite the GearWrench name, they are not up to the mark. Firstly, there is no detent to retain the bolts, so any extension or wrench will turn over with them still attached. Additionally, the size markings are etched (not stamped) on the crowsfeet, and the typeface is fine and cluttered. There is a gearwrench brand stamp and a 5-point star on each piece in addition to the size marking The six digit model number would be in a font of the same size. Neither the wrench size nor the knurled plastic tray are large stamped on the wrench and it must be stored that way "for easy identification. ". Having to move a toolbox between airplanes and hangars is difficult for me, as I use my tools every day. That means I don't have room for all the plastic trays they would like to keep my crowsfeet on an 8-way rail, however these won't stay on one, and I would lose the ability to quickly identify the size of them.

I am disappointed
3/5

It took me no time at all to break them open. Those books will be returned. I bought my first Gearwrench product with this transaction. I was looking to add to my collection of tools with a set of crowfoot wrenches. It is mentioned on the case that there is a detent for retention, yet no detent is present. It looks cheap because the cutout for the ratchet is jagged. It's easy for me to see through the wrapping that they have fingerprints. This would not bother me if these were the $20 ones available on Amazon, but they're two and a half times more expensive. Gearwrench had to deliver more than I expected. The ratcheting tools they make look promising, so I hope to purchase some some day. I am unsure whether I will do so The two stars relate to the fact that I would think they would work fine, but I expected better quality for the price. Yesterday I picked up a set of Craftsman screws from Lowes that were the same price, and they had a ratchet detent and clean cutout.

We ordered our crowfoot wrenches from Amazon since it was a better price than at Sears and buying our Craftsman
4/5

Since I found these Crowfoot wrenches on Amazon, I was able to save money over purchasing a Craftsman set from Sears. It was my expectation that the Gearwrench would be approximately the same quality My only complaint was that I was not completely satisfied with the purchase when I received it. Crowsfoot wrenches by Gearwrench don't have the little divots for the ball detent of your ratchets or extensions inside the square holes. It doesn't matter whether you have a locking ratchet or a locking extension because the Gearwrench Crowfoot will be able to fall off both. My expectations of GearWrench and Apex Tool Group were so high that I was completely taken by surprise. It is for this reason that I gave it four stars. Besides its poor quality, the Gearwrench Crowfoot Wrench was everything a Craftsman would be. If you are planning to use the blow-molded case you can expect it to be a solid piece of hardware.

The retention system is completely lacking in grooves and holes! DON'T BUY WITHOUT READING THE TITLE! It's not that I do not like the GearWrench products, but these do not have a groove or hole for a detent, causing them to slip off the breaker bar continually

This is a neat tool
4/5

I think this tool is pretty cool. To replace an O2 sensor that had been installed in a very tight space, I bought this set. There is a 7/8 wrench head that fits very tightly to the O2 sensor and they seem to be durable, well-made, and well-made. It is the case itself that I have a problem with this set. First of all, the tools do not have a lid to fully enclose them. A second issue is that the case cannot be hung. The organization of my stuff is very important to me, so I had an awl puncture two holes and attached a wire through them so that I could hang the tool on a peg board. Sadly, when you spend this kind of money on a set of tools, I don't believe it should be a luxury. I believe a full enclosure and a standard handle is a necessity.

The price difference between Snap On and this product is worth the money
5/5

admit, I was skeptical of this product before acquiring it, but I honestly cannot express how pleased I am with it. In the original plan, I was supposed to buy a metric and standard set from Snap-On- My price was based on their current price. I was surprised to find out that I was going to have to pay close to $600 and change. I could not justify the cost of these despite how much I would like to use them. In the end, I turned to Amazon and decided to give this set a try for way under the snap on price. I've used it on some hard to reach lines on ABS modules and have snuck them in places where a wrench couldn't go. Even if you find they don't work, it is still worth trying for the price even if they don't work. They are helpful to me, however, I am not sure how robust they will be over time.

The chrome finish is nice and smooth
5/5

Having a good sense of A set of intermediate brake lines was purchased for an E39 BMW. I ordered these since there is no way to put a wrench on them or use a line wrench on them. Despite the smooth finish on the outside, they have a good feel in the hand and seem to fit true to size. My job was a little tough, but I was able to extend it and manage. Usually these are not a needed tool, but act as a great help.
