There is no truth to that the tangs penetrate the handle through a little more than two inches!
However, they are not garden shears since they are not designed for cutting leaves.
Although I am equipped with good, professional equipment, I am also able to do so. It has one blade with a light serration, and one blade with a plain edge. Use a file with a fine edge to sharpen the plain side. If you want to make the serrations deeper, use a jeweler's file with a fine edge to sharpen the other side. I have done it on expensive trauma shears and am confident it can be done.

It's not often that I write product reviews, but when I do it's a result of being inspired or disappointed by a product. A product like this falls into the latter category. The scissors that are in this package are amazing. Anything from heavy cardboard to thin food packaging plastic can be cut with the machine. When it comes to some thin plastic film used in food packaging, I couldn't get scissors to cut it with ease. These scissors did the trick easily. Although the handles are rather large, I do admit they are quite You might consider using a smaller product if you are small or have small hands. This is the case for me as I am 6 feet 250 pounds and have hands about the size of catchers mitts. I have trouble holding the handles because they are too big. It is impossible for me to fit my thumb in the thumb part of the tuit. I could fit two thumbs in there. Although you do have to adjust your grip a little so you can operate them properly, it does not take long. Yes, it is a nuisance, but the operation has always been described as a nuisance because everyone has told me my hands are large. I am 6 foot 250 pounds and I have hands like a catcher's mitt! I have trouble holding the handles because they are too big. The thumb lever won't let me reach my thumb. In the thumb hole, I was able to fit two of my thumbs. One does have to adjust to it a bit. Yes, it's annoying, but the operation and the high costs make it worth it There is no need to worry about the inconvenience since the quality of the scissors makes up for it. Very high recommendation. I would definitely buy from them again. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
The best tool out there. This is a great thing for those heavy duty molded plastic packagings that so many things come in, but I bought it to get a good deal on rug pads. As a heavy building and bridge construction veteran for 46 years, I know a decent tool when I see it. These shears are just right for the price it's quite possible that there are more expensive, but better, shears available. The heavy duty kind. A well-made product. This is the first time I've been impressed with anything.
Since I was a child I have spent a lot of time cutting scouring pads in half in order to avoid wasting them These pads are all the same size. Several of my favorite SOS and Brillo products are significantly larger than what I need and need, but boy, they're all more powerful than my hands or scissors, ever. My hapless pair of scissors did a bit of damage, but processing a new box of scouring pads has always given me nightmares. Since these Fiskars shears arrived just as I needed to purchase a new supply of smaller pads (after I broke a pair of scissors trying to open the Fiskars package), I set about making new pads with these Fiskars shears. didn't think I could give the shears a fair try since my hands were weak and painful due to an arthritis attack, but once I reached the bottom of the box, I was actually glad I was done with them. wanted to keep going because I was enjoying myself so much. As if I were cutting the day-old scouring pads with these shears, they sliced through them with ease. An old piece of Astonished was how I felt. Even though I have found so many uses for the shears, I am still amazed not only at their strength and engineering, but also how many uses there are What has happened to me after all these years without these items? The following is what I am giving my kids at.
With one fine serrated and extreme heavy duty experience, these scissors are designed to handle everything An edge that is smooth. To give you an idea, I wear a large or XL gloves. A weld patch would be the best solution for the handles, as they are the weak link.
An all-around four and a half. It is possible that these shears could be ideal for tough, at-home jobs like working with In terms of a utility item to stick in your pants, well, they will cut but they are not very During my time in EMS, I became dissatisfied with my trauma shears, so I bought these specifically for emergency use. EMS use of the knives poses issues. They cut very well, but they do not work well in the hospital. It is such a lot heavier and the handle is so much bulkier than the 8" model. There is a model similar to the 8" with offset handle that I would like to see. This is not the case. Their bulk and weight make them too heavy to wear with pants. I modified the thumb grip on both models by reducing the thickness of the flange and rounding the blades. Despite their heavy and bulky nature, they are still too heavy. As a backup, I'm going to use the 8" bandage scissors. And I'm going to stick to trauma shears for removing clothes.
The size is ideal for my big hands, and they fit comfortably. With their lightly serrated edges, the blade edges grip what you're cutting and make razor sharp cuts effortlessly. These shears are SO important. If you're a shop guy with big hands, possibly suffering from arthritis, then you NEED to have these shears. The machines are perfect for cutting cardboard templates, making gaskets and cutting insulating materials, all with a new found ease that will make you wish you had them ten.
Due to the fact that I have tested multiple scissors in the last month, I feel pretty qualified to write this review. (the KitchenAid scissors that are meant for the kitchen and the Kobalt scissors that are meant for heavy duty work) Both the edges and the lifetime warranty) are sharp, but after half a day of use on my ocean kayak they began to rust spots that needed special cleaners to remove. These, on the other hand, had very few and small faint stains that could be easily cleaned. As a result, I feel that the kayak would be very successful with these. The first time they passed, they cut the braid line. Those unfamiliar with braid should know that it's like a thread that is used on sewing machines. If it isn't cut cleanly, it frays and will fray. Because of it's softness and flexibility, extra sharp scissors are needed to cut it. Furthermore, it is super heavy duty and would be ideal for cutting fish gills and even the dorsal fin bones when processing fish. The products of fishing-specific brands rust or break, so I looked at them as well. With these scissors, you have a better quality and a more durable product than any other brand. Moreover, they are safer, as they don't have a pointed tip. I would highly recommend it. There is only one thing to consider the weight and size. They are large and.
They have been used for cutting paper, leather, cardboard, aluminum, and even leather since I received them. My work is easy and convenient with these shears, and I am very happy with their quality and ease of use. These gloves have a very good fit and are comfortable to use. The blades have not yet worn out according to my observations so far. My toolbox just got a little bit bigger.
