Is fishing the sole purpose of these boats?

The pliers and scissors can be used for anything you need them The only time I use mine is for fishing, so I keep it in a tackle box. It didn't take much effort for the scissors to cut the braided line.

I received these as a gift and had the opportunity to try them out later. This is my favorite part about the pliers their long reach. The scissors, on the other hand, are of little use to me. As a rule, I keep a pair of nail clippers in my tackle box just in case I need to cut or trim line. In spite of the fact that I had only used the pliers once, I bought myself a pair. Although I could probably buy something cheaper at a hardware store or dollar store, I think these are great quality and I would buy them again.

It's a good kit, but the sheath is terrible

I was pleased with the quality of the pliers and scissors. A sheath that comes with the blade however seems to have been designed by a 5-year-old. It does not have a backing for rigidity, but is simply made from nylon cloth. In one motion it turns and lays over, allowing the pliers to spin around. As long as they go in a boat, I cared little about this.

After losing the first set at the launch ramp, I lost the second set as well. Despite the fact that they do everything I need them to do, I can't give it a 5 star rating because of If you have the pointy end of the scissors and pliers sticking out the bottom, it does not In addition, having one velcro strap to guide both items and barely fitting seems to make it likely that both will fall out when one goes missing. I'd buy another set and give it 5 stars if it had a better holder.

Excellent results were obtained with the scissors when cutting braids. Perfectly spaced little ridges interlock between the pliers, allowing them to close I like the size of the pliers Small enough to fit in a small bag This tackle box is small and compact, but large enough to tackle most jobs that need it. Both the braid scissors and pliers are included in the package, so this is a great.

This is a handy It would be a good addition to the tackle box, we already have another one on the boat but keep this one in the box so it would be accessible when repairing poles

My favorite thing to keep is small scissors so I can cut the lines and spinners from the pole when I've removed the old one and hooks and sinkers.

It would be better if the holster was made of better It is very hard to find scissors and pliers of Having owned three sets, this is the third I own

It is the holster I have a problem with. There is a large tear where the belt clip is held because it is made of very cheap 'leather'. There is a need for a third set, hence my request. Other than that, I lost them both.
