While the pliers function as they should, the finishes on the metal are truly horrendous. It's a good thing that they were only twenty bucks a pair or I would have returned them. In Amazon's listing picture, the metal finish on the pliers is substandard, but they are at least an order of magnitude better than mine. Thanks to the reviews, I knew going in that I didn't get the best As a result, I think they deserve an A+ for their price. They have a few minor blemishes, but for $18 they're not bad. My rating of 4 Stars is not intended to be misleading since it is obvious that these were ground by hand, however I was still influenced by price and Normally, I would have given these 3 Stars if they were Knipex, but they aren't, since I would have had to pay four times the amount if they were. If a quality bump is added to these, I would gladly pay more. However, I cannot say I do not like these. In the process of dressing my wood, I used my buffer, then applied clear coat similar to what Craftsman uses, but it would be nice to have this It's not exactly my favorite thing to do, but for the most part I clean brand new tools pretty well. My hands don't get too dirty with this product since the handles are covered with rough vinyl that can be cleaned It doesn't get great reviews but I think it is a nice addition for those who have room for it, but it takes up a great deal of place in the drawer and as such may not be used by me.
