A few examples are Japan, Scandinavia, and The people are likely Chinese, Indian, or Pakistani in origin. I found them practical for my purposes, and they are good springs. Using a Swiss pattern file, I closed the jaws and filed them with 600 grit rouge, then polished them with a wheel spinning at 1050 RPM. It seems that the jaws have been heat treated and tempered, so try to take it slow while polishing. You grip the mouse well. There was no problem with the price. Replacing the jaws with plastic was not the same as receiving As a replacement for the steel jaws, I received two sets of nylon equivalents in a matter of hours

It is only suitable for very light work I would not recommend it for use as a hand vice
3/5

They are only suitable for jewelers. The best pliers for the job. They were purchased so that a steel press could be installed in my shop With a PEM nut, I can connect an aluminum corner to an alodine finish without causing further damage. On the other hand, the plier jaws bent backward and are no longer parallel after the first application. I'd like to offer a close-up A review of the black-and-white photos In an oxide jaw, a semi-transparent structure can be seen In order to accommodate the rivet hinge point on each, a circular hole was milled from the inaccessible portion of the part. The rivets on this item are FLAT Even though the cutout did not need to be all the way through, it was, so it added a perfect point of stress at which the jaw could be bent backward if sufficient pressure was applied to it. All I needed were my bare hands to achieve this force.

I've used them for years, and they're awesome
5/5

I was tipped off to these pliers by a machinist friend, and they are pretty handy. It is difficult to see in the photos that the jaws are about 5/16" wide and open out quite a bit. A normal pair of pliers is still holding an object in a "V" shape when it closes. Close these jaws parallel to each other I like having a small wrench that starts large and then closes down to any size as you squeeze These would be effective for a variety of purposes, but gunsmithing and music instrument repair are two that immediately come.

This is an essential item for me
5/5

Can't imagine how I got by The quality of these is excellent, and they're great. A flat surface They are great for many things, but sometimes they aren't the right tool for the job because they aren't flat all the way down the nose, and wire can slip coming out when coiling or other similar tasks. For the occasions when one needs something longer and more secure, these are the best. You should have flat surfaces.

I like this grip for grinding tiny pieces or for other operations with good gripping contact to hold them
4/5

It is very good value for the price. I am only giving 4 stars because the faces are not 100% parallel, but they are still good enough for my purposes.

Have yet to put them to use but I am confident that they will be effective. Although they may be a little small for my hands, I believe I will be able to work with.
