Concrete Countertop Mold Edge Forms are used to alter the shape of the edges of concrete elements such as vanities, countertops, table tops, and stair treads. The sizes, shapes, and variations of each can be combined to create a unique edge that complements the countertop's surface as well as the surrounding design. For both precast and cast-in-place applications, concrete countertop mold edge forms are designed to create detailed edge designs with all concrete and GFRC mixes.

Mold edges for concrete countertops are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Because concrete can be cast into virtually any form or mold, it can be made to look like stone, rope edges, vines, and more. The concrete countertop mold edge forms are made of a high-strength, 40-durometer urethane rubber that will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

Is it possible to put it to another use?

I use brad nails to hold the form together all the time. When you're finished, simply pull through the rubber to create a pinhole. So you don't end up with a bunch of small pieces, be careful how you cut it up. Allow excess to dangle from the form's end. Outside corners do not need to be perfectly clean. They just need to be cleaned up with a hammer to make them look like stone.

The shape was exactly as described and performed admirably. It appears to be identical to the stacked stone I used to surround the fireplace. I made a mistake with the concrete hearth I poured, so I'll have to re-use the mold. It arrived in perfect condition, and we plan to use it again.
