That is an excellent query. Yes. The profile of a stone texture refers to how far out it can protrude. As much as an inch. From top to bottom, the height is measured. Consider a person's face profile. A profile is a view from the side. The head could be 10 inches tall and have a 2 inch protruding nose.

I'm curious about the mold's thickness. I am aware that it is a two-person team. What is the thickness of a 1/4 tall x 6 ft?

1 inch is a good estimate.

What is the best way to join the two ends together?

When putting them in the liners, you must shave them down as much as possible with tools in order to blend them in. After removing the forms, we chiseled them to blend using a hammer and a nail. They aren't perfect, but they do look fantastic!
