Selected User Reviews For Lucas Oil 10393 Chain Lube Penetrant Aerosol - 11 oz.
As a daily user of my KSF 250, the chain would sound crunchy after every wash after the mud washed off and I would put it back up till it was time to ride again, and I was in need of something that would make sure the links did not Therefore, I used some of it to lubricate it and make it smoother than whistle, and the bike rides much better than before. There is no metal crunch to the ride It's much more cost effective to use WD40 since "WD" stands for water displacer, and you need a little bit of moisture to lubricate chain and although WD40 will losen stuck parts, it will dissolve and drive large amounts of moisture and oils. As for this Lucas lube, it adds lube, protects against rust, and keeps a tiny bit of moisture on the chain to make sure it doesn't get.
For those who use chain operated gates, this is what they need. With a little spray on a plastic cup, I place the brush in the cup and apply it that way without creating a mess. I agree it will get all over your hands if you spray it even with the plastic straw that comes with it. Although it does last even under rain and dust and in warm weather, it does not last forever. This is the best product I have ever used.
You wouldn't want to spend your money on this. So sad Lucas Oil Purchase a different brand, such as Belray, PJ1, or anything else. There is nothing that sticks to it but the chain because it flings off. There is nothing good about this product, unless you like to degrease everything except for the chain every time you use As for spraying it on the chain, yes I did, and letting it sit overnight before riding.
I don't know what to do. As for the tube, I used it, but it was difficult to get it to spray foam slowly. There was a fire hose-like approach to the situation. It was easy to get the foam on the chain and did not drip much once it was on. Having spent 45 minutes riding, we got out of the car and went for a walk Throughout the frame, spokes, tires, and other parts of the bike, oil was sprayed. Went to the store and picked some up Cleaning off the dirt will cost you $40. Unless I get permission from my wife, I am not allowed to use it on her There was a warning on the can that it wouldn't fly off. It's a bull! Perhaps I should wipe the chain off after I use it if I try it again. The hotel is not what it says it is, so two stars are awarded. Then, I would spray WD-40 and call it a day The chain has a 40-link system. It would have been better for me to follow that path.
If you fully depress the valve, it will blow out in a mess. The flow can be moderated by lightly pressing it. It is thin and will drool on the floor when it drools off the chain. It is impossible for stuff like this not to fling, even though the label states otherwise. The oil, however, is foamy when applied and covers the chain thoroughly and penetrates deep into it. As far as I am concerned, it is a great product. The label on the product states that it won't fly, therefore I gave it three stars.
Ideally, you should only use this with bicycles, ATVs, and anything else that turns I've used dozens of chain lubes in my life, and this is by far the absolute worst one I've ever seen. When you wipe the chain off after you apply it, this will fling all over the place, INCLUDING THE BACK TIRE ON THE SIDE CONTACT PATCH. As a result, if you ride a street bike and you get good lean in corners, you might not want a lubricant spraying all over the tires.
As advertised, the product worked quite well to lubricate the chain, however, my bottle did not come with the straw, so I was not able to get an accurate narrow shot to cover the chain. It is the first time I have seen a can of oil or lube without one, but this one did not.
The power of I forgot to dry my bike after I washed Something nasty rusted up on the chain. I liberally applied this and a chain brush to make it look new, and it has stayed new since, even though I haven't ridden much lately due to the weather. This is also used by me every few months on my multiple computer system A 10-station exercise machine with 20 plates on pulleys that are mounted to dual chrome poles. I use a paper towel to clean and lubricate the poles, allowing the weights to travel quietly. Likewise, it can be used on things like door hinges and anything that makes a sound and is not mice.
