Questions & Answers
Mine are 3/4 of an inch wide at the widest point, near the center, with tweezers open as shown in the photo. You could close them to about a half-inch and still be able to close them further to pick something up. I hope this has been of assistance.
There is no rust on these chopsticks at all. Of course, I wash it by hand right away and thoroughly dry it, as you should as well. with regards to everything
I think they'd be small enough, at least for my paper shredder, but I'm not sure if they'd have enough force to hold on and pull; needle nose pliers might be a better option.
They don't have rubber covers, and they're well-made, so they shouldn't fall apart.

What do I use them for? I'm on my third pair because I want to make sure I have backups. Gardening is one of my favorite things to do. For cleaning out potted plants, they are my "go to" and indispensable tool - Cactus and succulents, in particular, are popular. They allow me to get into and between the plants with ease. Small weeds, leaves, and other small debris can be easily extracted with this tool. Plant is not harmed, and neither am I. I can also break up the impacted soil around the plants and around the edges of the pots to allow more air and water to get in. I can also take planting soil from the soil bag and put it in tight spaces without getting soil on the plant. This is the best gardening tool I've ever used.
It's not a joke, believe it or not. lol. Entomologists studying insects that feed or live on cacti face a unique challenge in capturing these insects because grabbing them is painful and nets don't work well against cactus spines. br>br>Long forceps, such as these, are essential. This year in Arizona, I used them to catch squash bugs and longhorn beetles on various cactus species, and I couldn't have done it without them! )br>br>But there's a catch: 15" forceps are also available, which are slightly better for the job.
We've lost the old version of this, and nothing else seems to work as well in clearing the gunk from the bathroom sink drain. I use this to remove the gunk, followed by a long-handled brush designed for cleaning dryer vents to remove the mold from the drain's sides. It's a dreaded task, but it must be completed.
I retrieved a small lipstick container from the bottom of my bathroom sink with these super long suckers. I'm not sure how it got in there in the first place, but I couldn't find anything small enough to reach down and grab the lipstick. This device was very effective! A pair of extra-long tweezers should be in everyone's toolkit! br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that because these are so long, you won't get the same tight closure at the tips as you would with shorter tweezers. Your tip grip is also significantly weaker than with smaller units because your compression point is further back on the unit. These are best for tasks that don't necessitate fine motor skills. Splinters, for example, would be impossible to remove with these.
This is a more durable version. I'm overjoyed because it's a lot heavier than I anticipated. As other reviews have shown, they are useful for a variety of purposes. Because my hands are large, I purchased it to pluck bugs from a container to feed bearded dragons. I find myself using them more in the garden, primarily to clean dead leaves under delicate succulents. cactus without hurting them in places where my fingers can't reach. That's exactly what I needed! I'll most likely purchase another so that I have one for both inside and outside the house. You will not be disappointed with this item.
They are extremely frail. When you squeeze them down, they flex and bottom out, reducing your grip. They're also very thin, about an inch from the back. I'll make good use of them, just not for the purpose I had in mind for these tweezers. Not like my old Craftsman tweezers, which I've had for 30 years.
I use them in my container gardening hobby, which I adore. I reach into my pots with these 12 inch tweezers and gently pull out the tiny growing weed seedlings, and it works perfectly. I take a seat in my chair and carefully inspect my pots for weed seedlings, which I remove with these tweezers. I'm able to reach almost anywhere in the pot, and my fingers and hands are cleaner than usual. It adds to the enjoyment. So far, every tiny weed seedling has been picked and gripped. In my container garden, I discovered a fantastic tool. Thank you very much! br>br>The more I use these stainless steel tweezers, the more I appreciate how useful they are. I'm having to keep them in my pocket more and more. The more I need to keep them with me in the garden at all times, the more I need to keep them with me at all times.
Finding tweezers to Aquascape an aquarium can be difficult and costly, but we came across these, and I must say they are very useful. Because I'll be using these in a liquid, I'd like to know what kind of stainless steel rating they have to see if they're rust-proof, like 18/10. br>br>At first, I received a 10" pair of tweezers, despite ordering a 12" pair, but that was corrected, and I'm now quite satisfied with these tweezers. The tweezers' 10" fulcrum was extremely low, making it difficult to maintain good control. The 12" pair I received is quite different, but it perfectly meets my requirements. I've gotten to the point where I can reach out to low-income people. Without dipping my hand too far or at all in the water, I was able to lay objects in the water with ease.
