Hi there! The length of these tweezers is approximately 5 inches. I hope this information is useful.
Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The tweezers should be able to withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
They were well-made and springy in my opinion. In normal use, they do not bend easily. Microelectronics (placing and soldering very small parts under a microscope) is what I use them for. You can bend them by applying a lot of pressure.
Yes, but keep an eye out for electrical hazards.

I was hoping for some high-quality tools from iFixit, but these are worse than the cheapest Chinese tools I've ever used. As stated on the package, they are not "precise. " As you can see from the photos, the angled pair's tips were the worst. They're ground to various lengths and thicknesses, and they don't quite match up well enough to pick up small components. br>br>As a side note, iFixit used to mock Apple for increasing the use of adhesives in their products, but as far as I can tell, these tweezers are glued together and the alignment can be gradually shifted. All of the others I have are welded together at the top joint, so it's pretty lame if you ask me. br>br>I would give these three stars if they were half the price and didn't have the iFixit branding, but I will be returning them.
The tips are unevenly ground and evenly spaced. The inside tip of the angled set has a hollow spot, one tip is flattened, and when you squeeze them, the tips splay outward rather than generate more grip. This lottery appears to be of high quality. I got one good pair as a freebie with a battery kit, and I wanted to get the rest of the set. Even though they aren't precise, they will pinch.
The plastic covering the tips was cracked, but the tweezers themselves were fine; the metal end of the tweezers does not grip smooth plastic or other smooth surfaces well. I used them to assist in the unplugging and replugging of ribbon cables and small power cables in a joycon, and they worked fine with a little effort to grip things a few times. Three tweezers are included with it. One is a finely angled tip that proved to be extremely useful. The other two are straight, but one has a fine tip and the other is wider; this set is recommended if you need to work in confined spaces.
The three tweezers are comfortable to use and have a good grip. They are especially useful when working with small chips and resistors. One of the tweezers had a small amount of paint on it, but that's not a big deal. br>br>So after about 2 weeks of use, I used the pair with a little more grip to catch a small screw and then slip, so I'll have to lower the rating. The other two tweezers, on the other hand, appear to be brand new; I believe this one simply did not adhere well.
Since the launch of the original iPhone, I've heard nothing but good things about iFixit. I never used their tools, instead opting for low-cost sets that were never up to par. When my iPhone screen cracked, I purchased this set, which is significantly more expensive than others, in order to try to repair it. My sausage fingers were having a hard time, so I just paid a local to fix them. However, because it is well-made and contains high-quality parts, I intend to keep this set. Every tool is useful for repairing small items, and I've used them to fix my sunglasses and fix my computer, for example. It's a keeper because these are buy-it-for-life items, and I highly recommend it!.
If you're anything like me, you've probably seen a lot of tech YouTubers gushing about how great iFixit tools are. I was skeptical at first, but I needed skinny tweezers to replace parts in my Joy Con controller, and I needed to work in tight spaces. This was ideal for small builds, as well as allowing me to fit my PC into tight spaces. This was a lot better than I expected for $10. My only criticism is that the Velcro on the case is misaligned, making it appear crooked, but this does not affect the tools, so it is unimportant.
iFixit has a lot of great products, and I've already reviewed a few of them. Because of the small size of this kit and the high quality of the items. These are excellent for small parts. If you have a few extra dollars on hand and need to beef up your toolkit, the sleeve (case) that they come in is very nice. Don't think twice about purchasing this item. Thank you once again, iFixit, for the tools you develop and distribute. Thank you very much.
This item is ideal for a variety of uses. It's a product you didn't realize you needed until you got it. It's not even funny how many times I've used them. It's a long-lasting product that's also simple to operate. I like how they come with a case to store them in when they aren't in use.
